For some reason, I just do not like this. I don't mind the widescreen thing, but it bugs me to see that title there like that. :cmad: They mostly tend to be the movies that are kinda on the cheap though, like that Miss March, Fired Up, etc.

yeh they bug me too. obama needs to ban them

Don't mind them. It's marketing, people have short attention spands. You see what the movie's called, and get to decide while you're watching if that movie is something you want to see. They don't want to depend on you watching the entire thing to know the title anymore.

They've been doing this for a while now. I remember seeing them for "Pineapple Express" and "House Bunny". I don't understand the point of them.

??? You don't understand the point of them? ?? Really? It's a commercial, for a movie, and they know people usually just flip through channels and don't watch them, so they have to put that TITLE out there for you to see first off. It's common sense.

i'm pretty sure all of these movies are made by one company

Are we really at the point where we are complaining about movie ads displaying the title through the commercial? Who the **** cares?!

We care, LSM. We care.

It's most likely for the channel flippers. The ones that would most likely pop in having already missed the title at the beginning and won't stick around for the end title. Usually just laugh at one joke right in the middle and continue on through the channels.

In some ways, it feels like a good idea.

On the other hand, it makes them look like Pay Per View commercials.
