Wii to launch in October?

I'm going to kill myself for not saving the scans I saw of this, but Killswitch of Zelda Legacy has posted that Weekly Famitsu this week revealed Twilight Princess now has an October 2006 release (in Japan, of course), which would mean Wii is probably coming out then, too, if you believe Reggie's remarks applied to the world market about TP and Wii launching together (and yes, I do believe that).
This does not necessarily mean Wii and TP are coming out in October in North America or anywhere else. However, I believe Nintendo will shoot for a world wide release, or at least a launch world wide withing a few weeks of each region after it starts in Japan. Hopefully this is true because I'd love to play Twilight Princess sooner rather than later.

When we locate scans, we'll publish the relevant excepts as proof.

ok, so today at work i did some digging. at most retail stores they have an internal data base to look up information on products. in my case, release dates and what not.

so today i looked up the new zelda. and they updated its date, i once was november 1st. now it is listed to have a hard street date ( meaning can not be sold before hand for any reason ) of 9-3-06. this is the game cube version. so, if they are tryin to get both wii and cube versions out around the same time, late sept early october sound good to me.

i also noticed that we have a 2 new sections to look up games, wii and playstation 3. so, lookes like we will be gettin dates soon on games and all the extra goodies to go with the new systems. ill post updates as they come in.

^^Yup, my local GameStop also has the Cube Zelda listed for September, the company emailed them and said this should be the solid date.

IF that's the case, I'll be wiing it up in September.
