I was reading about critism of wikipedia on wikipedia, and i was just wondering has anybody ever seen anything appropiate on wikipedia

wikipediaa does have a lot of ligitimate info but every once in a while, they **** up

It's always weird to walk in on vandalism in process. I once had to do a paper on the differences between Utilitarian and Kantian morality. I was reviewing the article on Kant and every other sentence in his description was "he is your mom".

It's fixed now, since I flagged it, but the entry for the band Asia used to reference the movie "The 40 Year Old Virgin" incorrectly, attributing one of the lines as "You know how I know you're gay? You like Asia" when it was actually "You know how I know you're gay? You like Coldplay" in the film. The Asia reference in the film is over a poster Steve Carrell's character had framed, and "Heat Of The Moment" was on the soundtrack, and they got those references correct on the Wiki.

After Steve Irwin died, they had to shut down the Stingray wiki because people kept typing "These ****ers killed the Croc Hunter" and once while going through a Gilligan's Island Wiki for absolutely no reason, I kept finding "Thug Life 4eva"

While looking up "A Very Brady Sequel" I found this under trivia:

We see Christine Taylor in a bikini, where she adjusts her bathing suit when she gets out of the pool wet. She has such a wonderful hot butt.

Is that really a blooper if it is true though Swordmaster ;)

Today my father & I discovered errors on the wikipedia page about the wrestlers "The Road Warriors".

Well one time, while clicking on links to related topics, I came to a link about the old Disney show "TALE SPIN". All it said was:

"THIS SHOW ****ING SUCKED BALLS!!! THAT IS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW!!!"

So... there you go. I think it's fixed now though.

Did anyone else see the Viacom entry about a week back? It was just a whole page of "LOL VIACOM SUX!!!!" repeated about a thousand times.

there's a reason why the original encyclopedia was written by the brightest minds of the time, not just about any dolt with an internet connection

i can't believe that ALLLLL this crap get's through, but i try and post ONE LOUSY PICTURE of Bella Donna Boudreaux, Gambits original wife and NOOOOO!O!!!
it get's rejected.
pffft.
stupid racist internet.

That reminds me of the time I tried to edit YTMND's Wiki site. I called it homophobic and Max Goldberg banned me. :csad:

I was looking at the entery for The Beatles and it kept refering to them as The Beatleforce every time.

I also found some racist vandalism in the entry for the Golliwogg. Some dumbass typed in all caps that the golliwogg wasn't offensive and that black people just have low self esteem and that's why they're inferior. I flagged the hell out of that ****.
