Will anyone be surprised if the movie ends with, to be continued

I think the fact, that the film will have 4 villians and a plot that would need alot of time and energy to have it transition well into film would need 2 movies. I dont think spidey 3 will go the root of a 3 hr film.
So what if the filming still going on now and plus more is to continue the movie in 2 parts.
Would anyone be surprised if Raimi threw To Be Continued... at us?

No I dont think it will have to be continued, we would know that by now....

it makes sense though... but the news would leak about two movies filiming back-to back- unless they suprise us witrh it and we see another movie in 3 years!!

Everyone wants it to be continued, but I dont think all the actors wnat it to do!

I would be surprised if that happened. But i honestly don't think it will happen because some actors will prob not return. The film itself is introducing things. Sandman, Brock, The Stacys. The Fourth Villian is prob spidey. That would clear things up about that.

Sandman is the main villian. All you have to do is show how he hates spidey and take it from there with a good detailed story. GG2 is all set. We know Harry is GG2 and wants his revenge. Brock/Venom will be built up throughout the movie on how they hate each other, setting up the symbiote transion from Peter to Eddie in the end to create Venom.

There is enough time to put this in a 140 minute movie if thats how long it is. It could be like 150 which is what SR is.

I would definitely be happy, but I would be incredibly surprised. 4 villains falls right into Marvel's crappy tendency to make horrible spin-offs of their flagship characters. Let's hope that if they choose that route, their spin-offs are an improvement.

I think we need a "to be continued" ending. I've said since last year that the Venom saga really needs at least two movies to be complete. If they can do it in one that's great, but I'd rather see it spanned over two.

Apparently they're going with the Ultimate Venom route in this movie. So two movies really wouldn't be necessary to establish Brock/Venoms hatred of Parker.

I just hope that the concept of Venom is set up like a horror movie.

Wait a minute. What if, just what if SM3's cliffhanger involves Vermin? That'd be an awesome transition and would be different than any other Spidey film.

Vermin or The Lizard for SM4.

Me too! But we need to see Eddie get slimed by the symbiote in the church tower and him laughing maniacally and forming into Venom. If we see that followed by Venom turning his head to the camera and a mouth of teeth and a tongue.

"It's time WE get our revenge..." he could say and than you could fade to black and go to multiple endings like "Return of the King."

i met him and sat with him and was put in as a extra in SM-2... (the rainddrops keep falling on my head scene). The dude is a class act, tobey was in a rush when i wanted to get his autograph but he was still ok

The only good cliffhanger IMO would be the symbiote slowly crawling back to Ney York after it disappears from Brock, for the appearence of Carnage (why ya gotta be hatin???) in a future film. (not SM4 though, that is Curt Connors/The Lizard's movie)

What i think will go down is that the whole movie will pertain to the symbiote/gg2/sandman. Then at the end is the church bell scene and the symbiote goes to Eddie and then it'll continue into the 4th one as him as Venom,

problem with all this, the story sounds like a 2 movie arc, and some of these people arent coming back. First off they better kill off mary jane and sign tobey for one more movie... then i think its fine to wait but tobey cant take much more action at his age remember that

Oh ****. Could this be the HUGE SURPRISE to be revealed around Comicon that Sam Raimi promised us? In some interview he said this little revelation would blow our minds. COULD THIS BE IT??!?!?! They are filming WAY early...

Also, notice how it looks like Spidey has a huge underground fight with Sandman while in the symbiote costume. Where can they fit Eddie Brock in all of this? interesting...

they were filming at madison square park, and iw as sitting at a bench, they randomly start shooting while people are just walking by.. then crowd gets bigger while we dont move... then we end up in the center of it. later when sam sat on my bench he looked at me and i looked at him and we had a quick chat about this being spidey 2. then he swithed sides to the street. hes a good guy

Venom probably won't be in 4. But they simply just can't have him in 3 and throw him aside. Although if that were to happen, I'd be pretty pissed.

I say The Lizard or Vermin for Spider-Man 4.

Wouldn't surprise me if they went with Venom/Carnage for Spider-Man 4 either.

Yea i do agree taht they cant arc a story to a fourth because theyre not sure if there is one yet so atleast they could do is clue into possible villains or jsut end it without any clues like in the first one. But yeah this movie is going to be jammed, hopefully and im trusting Sam to do it right.
