Justice League Will Doomsday appear again in JL or future DCEU?

First of all, listen or read ( ) what I have to say. If you haven't seen BvS, I WARN YOU THESE ARE SPOILERS... SO STOP RIGHT HERE OR READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

-We saw Doomsday, but not A FULLY ONE. My interpretation was this:

He got inmune and adapted at military weapon first time he got attacked and EVOLVED.
He got affected by magic of the Wonder Woman weapons and before Superman finished him with the kryptonite spear (sacrificing his own life), I saw Doomsday was evolving and adapting to the magic of Wonder Woman weapons.

So, he was vulnerable to magic and kryptonite, but if you know Doomsday as much as I do (and Snyder really got inspiration from comics), you will notice that if they want to make him back (again, that depends on them) they can.

Why and how he will return?

First of all, we know Superman died and he will come back (how? we will see it in JL) and seeing the points I mentioned proves (IMO) that basically Doomsday is INDESTRUCTIBLE, with the kryptonite and the magic attacking him, they made him IMMORTAL, like in the comics.

We saw Doomsday as the perfect killing machine (just not completely evolved) and if Superman comes back, Doomsday (if they want) can too.

Superman died not only because the kryptonite spear and weakned by the previous Batman attacks (with kryptonite), nucelar bomb, and then doomsday spear. So if you tell me ,but Doomsday died with the kryptonite spear, I will say Superman did it too.

Could you imagine if they burry him and put him the contention suit on EARTH? or tie him and launch him in a spaceship, that could mean having these options.

If they want they can put Brainiac or Darkseid keeping him for his own purposes (Brainiac for a solo Supes movie with Kandor or whatever and Darkseid for whatever his plan with Earth is, invasion, to feed Apokolips) -This is speculation from my part-

I say they missed a big opportunity by having Doomsday actually do the Death of Superman thing in BVS. It could have been a good storyline for a MOS 3 or 4. I was even hoping that Doomsday wouldn't kill Superman in BVS, and then be recovered by Lex Luther and modified more into a traditional looking Doomsday for another movie.


However another great death of Superman style comic to take ideas from is
All Star Superman.

I think it would be repetitive if Doomsday comes back, and Clark has to go all out again nearly killing himself to stop Doomsday.

^^ Not exactly. Have you read Hunter-Prey? On that comic they got the perfect way, IMO, of finishing an inmortal like Doomsday, putting him in a singularity or something like that of time and space, it was a really great explanation but I don't remember it very well, it was long ago since I read that comic.

There's also another possibility on another comic IDK if the comic is called Doomsday wars where Brainiac controls (he can't in the end) and finishes all the Justice League with no sweat and to stop him he puts him in a machine (IDK if it was Coluan) where he couldn't escape either between two dimensions if I remember correctly.

So, those two options are way better in a future, if and thats a BIG IF, they want him to come back, than making Superman dying again to stop him (it won't happen that way again IMO)

I totally respect your opinion, but myself being a Doomsday shill and being somewhat skeptical about Doomsday being here and Superman dying, I really loved the execution, seeing that he can come back if they want as we saw a non fully evolved Doomsday, so we will see about that, not to mention the reasons behind it and what it follows. The potential it has for the rest of the DC Universe is really juicy. Also I really liked how original it is but at the same time respecting the main escence. IMHO of course.

And as you have said, if they want to have a better story of concluding this Superman, All Star Superman or a mix of Red Son and Kingdome Come would be the better option. Well All Star Superman would be the better option if you ask me

No, Doomsday has served his purpose. He was only ever a plot device anyway, even in the comics.

We didn't get to see the dead body for long which is the classic movie trope for they can still be brought back. However, I'd like to think the government would be smart enough on this occasion to destroy the body rather than leave it lying around for another Zod to Doomsday situation. If they weren't I'd cosier that a mistake in later films.
