Will "Heroes" Really Be Worth My/Your Time?

From the previews and snippets I saw on NBC.com, I think it will be pretty good. And not that it matters or anything, but critics have been raving about it. If it fails it will just be another show I don't have to worry about recording on the DVR.

Bingo! I didn't want to put this in there but that's exactly how I feel.

Plus, we all know what happened to NBC's last Monday Night Fantasy show "Surface"; it still hasn't come up for air

Yeah I'm with you. This has so much potential. JJ abrams took one look at this because his buddy is on the show and said congrats to him to let him know he is pretty much on a hit show now.

i think that it takes place before 9/11. The guy who sees the future has a picture of NYC and thre is a huge cloud of smoke.Then when it shows a preview of next weks show it shows a shadow of a plane flying over the cheerleader girl.

This seems like it will be a really good series. So far HEROES, and HOUSE are my favorite shows.

I'm hooked! This was a really cool show. Mechanix, the painting looked more like a nuclear mushroom cloud in NYC, than 9/11. As far as the being daytime in NYC and Japan at the same time, maybe Hiro was on his way home from the bar, so it'd be 11:53pm rather than am. I doubt he'd be riding the train during his lunch hour.
