Well this restart is happening, unfortunately... What do you think Marvel will go with? A man with prosthetics or CGI?

Answer the poll with what you think they'll do and then post about what you would actually want. (I doubt anyone will actually read that part. :o)

CGI or maybe even somesort of an Exosuit like Treebeard (LOTR)

CGI. The fact of it is, the Hulk isn't built just like an extremely muscular human like Beast or even The Thing--- he's proportioned completely differently than a human being is. He's a living mass of muscles with huge hands and feet, and from shoulder to shoulder he's pretty much wider than he is tall.

While admittedly his size should be toned down to something more like 9 ft. instead of 15 ft., CGI is still definitely the way to go, to again bring the comic book image of the Hulk to life. A man in a suit could never hope to accomplish it the same way.

CGI all the way. A man in a suit would be an intensely stupid decision for Marvel and for once I think Marvel realizes that.

I think they should do both.

The main thing I didn't like in the first one was the facial close-up.The eyes looked too 'Final Fantasy'

Man/Make-up for close ups,
CGI for action/body shots

^Do you really think so? The only difference I see between a human and him is that he is green. :p
My vote is for CGI... Ang Lee made a fabulous job animating him. (yes yes I know he's not in Hulk 2 but even so...)

I think they should go with a multi-tiered approach involving guy in a suit/make-up, animatronics, CGI, & forced perspective like in LOTR. They should be ready to do what works best depending on the shot/scene that they're doing such as using the CGI for wide shots.

It'll be cgi and hopefully accounting will greenlight a $260mil budget!!

I thought the CGI for Hulk, for the most part, was some of the best I've seen and better than some of the CGI that has come after it, for example, LOEG and Van Helsing.

They should make Hulk a darker shade of green, a fixed height and none of that bubbling transformation effect. That would go a long way in making the CGI seem real onscreen.

CGI. Plus since CGI has advanced a little more since 2003, he'll look better as well.

I liked the CGI Hulk. Too tall, but they should stick with that. Rubber suits don't look too good. Look at the Thing and Juggles from X-3.

CGI. The fact of it is, the Hulk isn't built just like an extremely muscular human like Beast or even The Thing--- he's proportioned completely differently than a human being is. He's a living mass of muscles with huge hands and feet, and from shoulder to shoulder he's pretty much wider than he is tall.

Exactly. No man in a suit could pull of what the Hulk needs to be. CGI is a necessity these days.

he should be played by CGI cuz that CGI was perfect!IMO

The CGI Hulk was horrible. He was to big and to soft.
The Hulk is 7.5 ft tall and weighs 1090 lbs. He has a primatve
mean look and his body is solid with muscle on top of muscle. In the movie he was soft as butter with no attitude at all.

The director needs to read hulk comics to totally understand him. The hulk is not an easy character to create on film and to be made believable.

CGI was perfect, but a man is what the public wants.
Make him in the same vain as The Thing and the Juggernaut.
