Will the Sequel be the proposed Green Arrow: Escape from SuperMax storyline?

Green Arrow: Escape from Super Max was a movie in early stages of development. Green Arrow is framed for murder, sent to jail, and has to escape.

How it could be a SUICIDE SQUAD Sequel?
He has to work with a group baddies to get out, what if the script is tweaked to make Olliver come across Suicide Squad. Making it a sole Suicide Squad sequel except with Green Arrow as one of the main characters. Instead of making it a Green Arrow movie, they should make it a Suicide Squad movie and whereas instead of breaking out he has to work with the Suicide Squad to be set free by Amanda Waller. We all know Amanda Waller and Oliver Queen have a connection and with her unethical and questionable methods will force the hero to work for her.

"The Tattoo Man is in there which seemed like a no brainer if you're doing a movie about a super prison - having a character with super tattoos," he added. "Amanda Waller's in there as well, from the Suicide Squad. Those are probably the two I like the most, absent Green Arrow."
We heard nothing for ages, until we got the chance to ask him ourselves about the project in October 2015. Specifically, if he thought Escape From Super Max – stuffed with villains, not unlike 2016's Suicide Squad – was simply ahead of its time.
"I think it absolutely was," Goyer confirmed. "I think if that script had come over the transom a couple of years later… It was completely ahead of its time. By the way, everything I see about Suicide Squad looks fantastic and it’s a different story. But it was absolutely ahead of its time."

This would allow for Jared Leto's Joker to come back and for Jesse Eisenberg's Bald Lex Luthor to reprise his role as he is rumoured to have a cameo in Suicide Squad.

SUICIDE SQUAD 2 : Escape from SuperMax

This would incorporate both Goyers and Ayers visions. The Ayer film is expected to be a big hit and DC will likely want to continue the franchise to expand the DCEU and bring about new characters. Who else but the Emerald Archer himself! I don't think he will be getting a solo film anytime soon, so this is the perfect way to go!

Or it could be like the Assault on Arkham movie except with GA in the position of Batman and similar sort of storyline, except new threats and the more witty nature of GA to add more character and humour to the mix.

I would absolutely love this, it's the perfect way to bring Green Arrow into the fold, and a better idea than giving him his own movie. It piggybacks off of the hopeful success of Suicide Squad, AND everyone knows Green Arrow now because of Arrow

I remember this film getting kicked around like half a decade ago. Lol. It'd be interesting, maybe. I'm not sure I'd care for Green Arrow to take away from Suicide Squad. Not totally liking that idea.

I will say, that I remember the script for SuperMax was possibly like a Blue Harvest. I'd heard rumors that it was supposed to be a film for supernatural maniacs being imprisoned in a secret prison, which totally sounds like a cover, but honestly, that sounds like a cool ass idea on its own. Imagine a Jason Vorhees and a Pinhead and a Freddy, and all that, in a prison for the supernaturally maniacal (invulnerable/possibly unkillable, like movie maniacs tend to be). Then a riot. Heh. I'd be all for that movie. Course, Cabin in the Woods happened. Hrm. Idk.
