The Dark Knight Will the Teen Titans movie affect this series?

The Teen Titans' leader is Robin. So how the hell are going they going to introduce Robin without involving Batman? I have a feeling that WB is going to force Nolan to insert Dick Grayson (just like Sony forced Raimi to put Venom) in the series in order to make this movie. What do you guys think?

Anything is possible. However, Ipersonally refuse to believe agrown man can be forced to put any charactar in his movie. If it becomes a source of burden, you back out. Thats where "creative difference" comes from. IMO.

They can cover Robin's background without him being in Nolan's movies. They'll have to anyway, cause the article on this I read said they want to use Nightwing. Our wil Wobin all growed up.

If I remember the article on newsrama right the teen titans movie will have no characters that relate to other franchises like Robin in Batman or Superboy in Superman.So don't worry about it.

I've heard people say they should use Nightwing without referencing Batman at all, but to me that's a waste of a great opportunity. Everyone knows who 'Robin' is, it would be easy to establish that Nightwing was 'trained by the best, but decided to be his own man'. Just show some old photos of the Dynamic Duo fighting together and Dick doing some 'tricks that Batman taught me'. It gives the character a cooler edge.

If the TT movie is good, no one's gonna care that they never actually saw Robin in a Batman movie. Both franchises should be able to stand on their own.

Christopher Nolan has made it clear that the new "Batman" film franchise will not bring Robin into the mythology as long as he is directing, apparently having stated that Robin is in a crib somewhere still and the timeline isn't appropriate for him to enter the picture.

"This is a young Batman, so Robin's a few films....not for a few pictures anyway. Dick Grayson's still in a crib somewhere. I seriously doubt I will even be involved when Robin's in the franchise" says Nolan.

And this is what he said if he was forced to cast Robin

If given the opportunity to cast Robin now - which he says neither studio or him wanted - he said he'd go 'young' and mentioned Frankie Muniz as a potential. "If he doesn't age too quickly"

I highly doubt a Teen Titans movie will ever be made (commissioning a script does not equal making a movie), and even if it is, it will most likely suck.
