I imagine though, if it's just the Tumbler returning, they won't be "announcing" such. I imagine though, if we're getting a NEW bat-mobile, or bat-plane or a bat-boat or a bat-cave finally, they'll use this opportunity for such.

I'm sure it will be the second tumbler fox was referring to, but it will look slightly different.

Fox never said they actually built two, just that the plan was to use two Tumblers. Since they never could get the bridge itself to work, it's doubtful that they got to the point of building a second extremely expensive prototype vehicle.

Another Tumbler would be boring anyway. TDKR is supposed to have a $200 million budget. I'm confident we'll be seeing a new vehicle.

The Tumbler was awesome. I wouldn't mind seeing a new and updated version of it. Bruce is rich. I'm sure he can pay to have Fox design an updated version of the Tumbler. He keeps getting new gadgets and suits from Fox.Why not another Tumbler? It all depends what Bruce wants, or more accurately, what Nolan decides Bruce wants in the form a new Batmobile (and how it helps tell the story of TDKR).

I have an interesting bit of news on this topic.

I was at the WB Studios tour last week and saw the Tumbler and Batpod on display (as well as the TDK batsuit, Joker's suit, Nurse suit, and other stuff)

Anyway so when I saw the Tumbler - the tour guide said I was luck as I was in one of the last batches of tours to be able to see it as it is soon shipping off for filming!

Now the tour guide may have got the Tumbler and Batpod mixed up and it may only be the Batpod shipping out - but he certainly said that the Tumbler was - so make of that what you will!

Here's the scenario in which I want The Tumbler to return...

Bruce and Fox are talking, Bruce comments that there is another Tumbler to which Fox replies yes and it's at Wayne Enterprises. Then Reese and press come into Fox's office and Reese brings up the fact that WE is funding Batman and brings up The Tumbler with blueprints & photo shots of it around Gotham in pursuit. Fox then takes everyone down to the archives and shows them the second Tumbler (painted in original camoflauge) and tells everyone this was part of a failed bridging device and this vehicle has never left WE (with it being the 2nd one is entirely true)...discrediting Reese.
