How hard was it for them to settle on Singer? It wasn't that easy to find and choose a director and I think the situation is still the same. They have a team that is ready to move this thing forward. I don't think they are ready to scrap Singer because of the box office, though they are probably just now a bit nervous about future investments. I think it's building up. It's not peaking with this movie and if the sequels are done properly the box office/reception/reputation will reflect that and greatly improve. My guess is that Singer and co. will do the three movies.
I don't agree. If Singer had made a poor film then I might agree, but his film was a great film. The sequel will shut up alot of people, and I'll be here to see it. Let's just hope Nolan and Goyer can produce a second film that is as good as BB.
