The battle between GG and Spidey on the Twin Towers?

I'm not aware of this scene. I know there was a trailer with spidey catching a helicopter in a web but didn't know about any battle with the Green Goblin. Sounds awesome if it happened.

As great as a scene like that might have been I highly doubt it exists.

I remember reading that's why they pushed the film back was because they needed to reshoot the final battle.

No....it got pushed back before production because they couldn't meet a Nov. 2001 deadline and summer means more money.

The climax with a GG movie WAS ALWAYS going to be on a bridge.

They did shoot an introduction scene that was the teaser trailer of Spider-Man's revelation to the world (besides the wrestling match) that involved him catching bank robbers in their chopper between the towers and you can find a streamlined version in trailer format on the web...but the scene was cut for obvious reasons after 9/11.

I don't expect to see the full scene, ever.

Doubt it. The scene where the chopper was caught in a web was shot specifically for a trailer right? I don't expect to see an actual scene involving a fight near the towers.

You did read it, and there was a climax shot on the Twin Towers that was reshot....but for Men in Black II, not Spider-Man.
