Macy Slams Lohan for Lateness

Veteran actor William H. Macy has blasted co-star Lindsay Lohan for her behavior while filming the movie Bobby, insisting she "should have her ass kicked."

The star shared scenes with the 20-year-old actress in the film and admires her talent, but not her manners. He said, "You can't show up late. It's very, very disrespectful." Lohan was blasted in a letter last month from the Ceo of Morgan Creek Productions for her absences on set of her new film Georgia Rule, who called her behavior that of "a spoiled child." Lohan appears in the film alongside Macy's wife, Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman.

He explains, "I think what an actor has to realize (is that) when you show up an hour late, 150 people have been scrambling to cover for you. It's nothing but disrespect.

And Lindsay Lohan is not the only one. A lot of actors show up late as if they're God's gift to the film. It's inexcusable, and they should have their asses kicked."

This proves something: Never mess with William H. Macy.

Or get you into a wood chipper.

I wish more stars would blast the co-stars for being the stereotypical celeb. William H. Macy deserves a lot more respect in his industry.

Yeah, he should be like... the... the president of Hollywood. Yeah!

If Macy says something, then that's bad. Macy always comes off as a very geniune and nice person.

Considering that the studios are starting to put the pressure on the stars for better and more profitable performances, there's probably some shiat-kicking coming.

Bruce Campbell should play Macy in the upcoming biopic : Macy : The Motion Picture.

I wish Lohan would suck. Maybe then I'd see if she truly had talent.

yes, I will support Bruce Campbell as William H. Macy in Mac: The Motion Picture.

Epic.

You won't get very far in life, it something called professionalism and class, which means you don't go bad-mouthing other people. In this case it's different, her shenanigans have been well documented going back to 2 years ago on the set of Herbie, at this point, the ****'s hitting the fan.

Macy strikes me as the kind of guy that doesn't normally speak bad about people.

However, there comes a point that when it's bad enough that people feel need to speak out about it, which likely means that Lohan has reached that tipping point where studios will start to steer projects away from her because she drives up the cost of projects with her chronic lateness and partying.

If anything, I'm guessing he's really trying to help save her career.

In rap and the movie business, bad-mouthing and catfights get you headlines. A lot of it's just postering egotism where you're stepping on someone to make yourself taller. But in this case, yeah, it can be good because maybe Lohan will be under more pressure to actually act like a professional and not some coke-sniffing ****e who thinks she's god's gift to movies.

I misinterpreted your post. When you talked about bad mouthing other people, I thought you were referring to Macy.

But I think I said it better. :)

Tis fine, now edit your post accordingly and I'll edit mine  Yes, your post is better, for ******s, who can't infer the obvious :(

William H. Macy thinks you both need your asses kicked for that.

I don't think so. I want the whole world to see how much more articulate I am than you.

I am a genius!!

That should be the tagline for Macy - The Motion Picture. That, or: "he thinks you should have your ass kicked - and Macy's the man to do it!"
