Personally, I liked Sam Elliott but obviously, this is a redo.
^ Yeah but they're washing their hands of anything that resembles the first one from top to bottom.
Yes, I've noticed.
Thanks for this optimistic post, Advanced Dark. You bring up some very good points for those of us who enjoyed Lee's take on the character, and who may or may not have obvious mixed feelings everytime a new name is announced for certain roles. It's not a bad thing. Just think of it as a different vision/take on the character. We saw one love it or hate it...now we're seeing another. This one is shaping up better than the original as far as casting and Louis Leterrier is honestly more suitable for this franchise then Ang Lee. Keep in mind I loved Ang Lee's Hulk. Marvel's going all out on these films guys you should have any concerns like some of you have with Fox or Lionsgate.
Screw the negativity.
I like William Hurt, but this is a total miscast. The one thing they got right in the last attempt, was Sam Elliot, who nailed Thunderbolt to a T, no pun intended.
William Hurt it's a great, great actor.
