Windows 7 - Cant save to C:// drive

So I recently bought a new laptop, mainly for school but also for games. I tried to download some mods for Morrowind, and it told me I didn't have permission to save to the folder. The folder was the c drive. Obviously since im the only user of the computer im the admin, so I dont know why its doing that.

I feel like that's new, because I've already downloaded programs like Celtx and Zune onto my system, and im always saving things into Documents. Anyone know how I might remedy this?

Play the game as an Admin.

I can play the game, the problem is that I can't save files to the C:// drive, and I am logged in as the admin.

I can still use any files on the drive, so I can play the game just fine.

Honestly, it's hard to tell without playing around with it. I would be willing to do a remote session with you to see about getting this thing figured out. I have a feeling that it could be a permissions issue, but don't know for sure. If you want to do a remote session, if not then I completely understand.
