 ****! In a few months, their be pulled out. share stories of your painful experience.:mad::mad:

I woke up in the middle of it thrashing my feet about, then of course they upped my meds and out I went.

not a lot of pain I was asleep for it, maintained the drugs so i would feel nothing

Do the rinses they recommend religiously, take your pain medication and pray you don't get "dry sockets". Also hope you don't have an adverse reaction to the anesthesia and turn blue from not breathing in the car on the way home like I did. Good luck and have fun!

I was wondering... if you get your wisdom tooth taken out, does that mean you'll lose your wisdom and become... stupid?

I still have mine and I don't want to be any more stupid than I already am. :(

Mine just gently nestled themselves perfectly into place. I retain the wisdom.
HA ha

Ahh.... that's why you're such a smart... aleck.
Mine did hurt a few weeks ago but they are fine now.

Eh, it hurt the first time. Second time was a lot better. Never had any nasty side-effects though.

My sister had them pulled yesterday. Seems like it really sucks.:(

Got em' out the Christmas before last...it SUCKED! I was drugged out of my mind! pills, gas, & needle!!! afterward, the anesthetic was working like a truthserum around my mom...good grief, i nearly told her some things i would have regreted (no i didn't live w/my parents but i was home for christmas)!!

i was on sooo many meds i could barely walk for a week, seriously!

You're scaring me. :(

Last fall, I had my wisdom teeth pulled out, because they were grinding into the back of my other molars. I was under anesthesia to get them out, but I refused to take any pain killers after. After about 3 days of misery, the pain went away.

Yes, I was tough enough to refuse pain killers afterwards, though I wanted to hunt down the dentist who pulled them out during that time.

Coincidentally (or not) I received Transformers: season 1 for Christmas (from myself), and let me tell you....it's a MUCH better show when you're on drugs! Unfortunately, I'd pass out midway through each episode...

why the hell didnt you get the pain killers? you wouldnt have felt it, AND you would have been semi-high

dude. i'm so sorry. i bled for DAYS. bonus was: i got lots and lots of milkshakes out of the deal.

my kid friend drooled blood by the pints when we were in Jr. High! sicko! My face just swelled up so bad I hid from everyone I knew for two weeks...(not so, i was still swooning ladies with a fat face:)

2 of my wisdom teeth were severely impacted and they had to break the teeth into 4 pieces before pulling them out. Even though I was shot up with novicane it still hurt and I felt like they broke my jaw, I was in pain for about a week and the vicodin they prescribed me didnt do a thing

I've never taken pain killers for anything, so why start now?

Canadians are pretty much numb to anything, aren't they?

13 years of a Liberal government tends to sear off nerve endings.

I've had two wisdom teeth in my life and I left them alone. Usually, it just grow and then the pain would stop.

Good luck to you. Sounds painful. :o
