ABC has plans for a Witches of Eastwick tv series. Here's a little about the planned pilot from Bloody-Disgusting.com.
It's hard not to be excited for ABC's forthcoming Eastwick, their TV version of the classic feature film The Witches of Eastwick, which easily could translate into an ongoing series. Today it was announced that Jaime Ray Newman ("Supernatural") has landed one of the three leads in ABC's drama pilot, with Veronica Cartwright, who co-starred in the 1987 feature, also cast in a supporting role. The movie, which starred Jack Nicholson, Cher, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer, was based on the John Updike novel about three women who turn to witchcraft after losing (or booting) the men in their lives. They conjure up a devil-like character, who then proceeds to seduce all three of them.
I personaly like the idea of a tv series from the show. The movie was good to watch and it could really flow well as a tv series about witches....wait...where have I seen this before?
