If you do, make sure it's a Carnival cruise. They've always got something fun going on. I've heard that on other crusies, after dinner, people just go to bed cause there's nothing going on. It's also great because if you don't want to go on shore excursions, you can do something on the boat.

Yeah we had some friends take a Carnival cruise and they raved about it.

ah, a cruise is what the wife and I have been planning for years. We had one all planned and prepaid for, but our son's Air Force boot camp graduation ended up being on the same time, so we had to cancel and get the money back for the trip to his graduation. He's more important. That was 3 years ago, now we may plan one for our 25th wedding anniversary in 3 years. We'll see, life always seems to change our plans.

I don't think its because it wasn't a carnival cruise. I was on a cruise last year and it was great fun. A lot of people complained because they're ungrateful fools, but I thought it was great. There was food 24/7, there was a pool, there was an ice cream machine(I had like 10000 ice cream cones in the course of the week), there were magic shows and musicals, etc, and there was about half a dozen restaruants, fancy ones, that you could just walk into at any time without any money and order 5 steaks, baked potato, lasagna, spaghetti, whatever the hell you wanted, and there was no bill. Just the cost of going on the cruise. I must of gained 40 lbs in that one week alone.
