Goodnight, sweet Prince.

Hahaha, yah...Nolan is not the originator...I AM! :woot:
Now I understand what you meant when you said you have a good job and good pay. Nolan is just your puppet, your slave. You make him go to all the interviews and then you steal all his money.

Well I didn't want to say anything about my job...but the cat's out of the bag.

Can I work for you? I can approve of $100 an hour, work 50 hours a week
Insurance included, no taxes to pay

No taxes?

Woah, woah, woah...I'm not a god now, I can't keep that from happening :funny:

You're a very important man
OK, $150 an hour

I'm watching Amazing Spider-Man: Deadly Dust, and I couldn't help but notice in the paper the name is written the wrong way Spiderman, although the title of the show clearly says Spider-Man

Like we said earlier: There is no such thing as a Spiderman.

And yet when directors say they're inspired by Nolan's Batfilms, other fans still try to disprove it, lol.

Favereau also mentioned other films, its not like its completely inspired from BB,more like 10%

No one said one thing is copying the other, only that it can be compared. The Ten Rings? A terrorist organization who's leader has no more fantastical element. The League of Shadows? A terrorist organization who's leader had no fantastical element. I'm sure between the lines, they are very different and we can already see the difference as the League was full of ninja, the Ten Rings weren't, but the comparisons are there and can be made. It's worse when other fanboys are whining about the comparisons when they can be easily made.

And I still stand by the fact that even when someone mentioned inspiration from Nolan, other fans still try to disprove it when their film has some element taking a cue from Nolan and they all wish that Nolan never existed now because they ALWAYS trash on Nolan and his films. Sorry if they're great that gives away inspiration after inspiration? Does anyone really think there'd be a TAS-M without Batman Begins? Does anyone think there'd be a Casino Royale, Skyfall, Iron Man, Star Trek, Sherlock Holmes? And yet everyone hates on Nolan as soon as those directors mentioned the name of the director that inspired them.

Agree with everything
But the bold part was ridiculous,Films would always keep coming,Sony wont stop producing Spider-man movies till they go bankrupt, its foolish to think otherwise
You say the tone/Realism was copied, what else were they supposed to do? The fun version was already done by Raimi, they would obviously need to change the tone.On top of that BB wasnt the first super-hero movie to use the dark tone,Daredevil did it before it.So is it fair to say if there was no Daredevil there would be no BB?

As for other movies like Sherlock Holmes,Casino Royale,I cannot even think from where you got the logic that they are influenced from BB? They arent even Superhero movies

It's okay, I have a fantastic job with great pay.

You should find out what other stuff I waste my money on :oldrazz:

Well I am not a stalker but it bwilders me too
You spend the majority part of your life on forums and have time to see a 2.5 hours movie 8-9 times and break a 20-30$ disc just like that.

10%? Underestimating Batman Begins once again.

Films do keep moving forward, you're correct, but inspiration really makes a film move forward in the ideology and how to move forward with a project as much as Superman: The Movie inspired Burton's Batman or Raimi's Spider-Man. THAT is what I am referring to. It's the inspiration that really opens up some boundaries on how to work with a film.

Only one of the many mysteries of my personal life that I will never tell

Inspuration is fine but saying something which means a particular movie wont exist if another one didnt exist didnt exist is rubbish

As for Boundaries, its fair to say Daredevil did it first and Nolan took inspiration from it

And I cannot for the love of god figure out how movies like Sherlock Holmes is influenced from BB

Influence and inspiration will definitely keep a movie from not being made. You may not know how powerful inspiration can be if you think it doesn't help move forward with any project.

And Daredevil could do this, but no one looks at Daredevil when it was a ****** movie, period. It's rubbish that you actually bring up Daredevil. No director in their right mind will look at Daredevil and be inspired. The only good part of that film was the villain.

Plus, while you may not understand how Holmes was inspired by BB, the fact is Guy Ritchie has tagged Batman Begins as inspiration, and that's all that need to be known. It's fine if you don't understand it simply because you're not Guy Ritchie.

So my friend spoiled the ending to AC3 to me last night just out of nowhere when we were having coffee and ruined my night because, A.) He didn't even ask if I wanted to know and B.) [BLACKOUT]The ending ****ing sucks.[/BLACKOUT]
