The hype I had for SM3 is what made me hate it so much after I walked out. Over the years I've learned to enjoy it as the disappointment wore off.I guess I can only tell you how I felt after walking out of Spider-Man 3, I thought it was great once I left, but after I let it sink it I saw it for the pretty mediocre movie it was. The hype got to me, made me think it was better than it was. I hope none of this is hype and it's genuine praise, all I am saying is that any opinion I take right now I will measure it with a bit of skepticism be it negative or positive opinion.
Well that's good to hear!![]()

Do we know for a fact that the Harry beatdown has been removed? So Gwen dies and Harry just flies away?

I understand your skepticism. I've been in the same situation. I'm just saying I don't think we should just discredit opinions on a whim, ya know? Good or bad, somebody most likely genuinely felt the way they did. I hope I'm not coming off snarky. It's not what I intended.
Harry's trapped under one of the gears or steel bars or something. Forgot what it's called.
Do you recall how long the beat down lasted?
Just saw on Twitter, that the after credits sequence is the man in the shadows walking past the door, and asking someone about the progress of "Project 6"

He felt they spent too much time on Peter and Gwen and not enough on Peter and Harry. The Spider-man action and just Spidey himself was the best he's ever been. He didn't care for Dillon pre-transformation, called him "too cartoony." But he still credits Webb for doing a great job and letting loose. Again, there's the complaint the middle act could have used losing about 15 minutes. Actually it's a pretty positive review, I'm surprised he didn't give it a 4/5 after reading that. Well, maybe a 3.5
t:Ultimately, Webb may prove that some franchises get better as they go along, so think of this as the adolescent part, where Peter Parker is caught in that sticky place between being a boy and being a man – and maybe even, a truly ‘Amazing’ Spider-Man. We’ll have to wait and see.
