I agree with him. Why should people who just want to enjoy the buildup and discuss the movie be punished?

I have yet to see CA:TWS by the way, what did you guys think of it? I've Heard great things!
For me, I'm not so concerned about the few negative reviews, but rather how most of the positive ones are like 7/10, and how most positive reviews bring up some pretty critical points like the weak story etc.
It's a very solid movie. Easily the best Marvel Phase II film, and imo, it's right up there with IM1 and The Avengers. I gave it a 9 out of 10.

It's possible the 'weak story' is more about all the other stuff they've packed into the movie ala the universe building items that may distract viewers from the main story. IMO for us Spidey fans, this movie will serve better. It may have some flaws in the overall framework but it looks like we'll be getting the best Spider-man yet. Meaning as a Spidey film it will be rated higher than as a film on the technical aspect.
I've Heard it doesn't overdo the Comedy like Thor 2, which is enough reason for me to enjoy it I think. 9/10 sounds awesome!![]()
Teekay said that the complaints for it being overstuffed are head scratching. I guess critics like to exaggerate things.

And Teekay is approaching the movie from the perspective of a CBM fan unlike a critic who is there to be objective and review a movie based on its merits/faults. Depending on the thought process it could come across any number of ways. We'll have to wait and see for ourselves...hopefully we end up in agreement with Teekay. But I've also read in at least one review that points out the 'overcrowding' is not an issue at all.
The script is really well-done and the humor was just right. Cap is a total badass in this movie, just the way he moves during the fight scenes is absolutely great. The fight scenes themselves were choreographed so nicely and the cinematography was excellent. Without spoiling anything, the only big nitpick I had was the final action sequence goes on for too long. It would have been better served being a bit shorter. Otherwise, it's so very enjoyable. I loved it.
I honestly didn't care for it as much as I had expected. I left thinking it was a decent addition to the MCU, but overall I wasn't impressed. It's average for me as far as I'm concerned. Unpopular opinion of course, tons of people loved it. Happy for them, I love Captain America, just not his standalone films.

Perry9 how much do you think TASM 2 can score on RT
Thanks Oscorp, hope you enjoy the film when you eventually get to it!![]()
I don't know when I'll see it though :P I initially voted a 86-90 from critics. Now, i'd say somewhere around 80-85. However, i can see it pushing the 90's with the audience.
Are the folks in London watching the film right now?

I'm on a 10 minute break btw. Thought I should pop in and say hi. ^_^I see a lot of derailing and spamming in the general discussion. I think I'm pretty good at avoiding it/following the rules. I do sometimes feel compelled to enforce the rules, but I feel doing so adds to it haha.
Hi Teekay! I apologise for my harsh comments over at the GD towards you!
t: And go check out Cap 2 man, really great film. Best MCU film so far.
