I work in a mailroom and we've always gotten EWs on Thursday? Hm.


I'm afraid with this series you're not gonna get that. Marc has made it clear that as film makers, you have to put your own twist on things.

Wonder what EW are gonna give the film? They gave the last an A-, so hopefully it'll be somewhere around that, we coulde use some higher tiered scores.

And yet, a lot of the positive reviews are saying that as well. Hmmm.

Also what a lot of reviews (positive) for Cap2 said, but it's still very highly regarded and extremely well received. Almost every positive review for every movie that comes out includes some form of criticism. Even movies in the 90's don't just have all reviews that say the movie is 'perfect.' There's always some problem with just about every movie, whether they're poorly received or well received.

Point is, even if multiple reviews are bringing up this same point, it's clearly not enough for them not to give the movie a positive/fresh review, so it's very clearly not that big of a deal. It makes no sense continually bringing this same point up as an indication this movie will be bad or struggle, because like I said, it's only one small piece found within these positive reviews

I really hate to keep arguing about this (this will be my last post about it) and I do respect you as a poster around here, but you've seemingly been trying to take a match, and fan it into a forest fire

I didn't see criticisms aimed towards Cap's plot structure (or lack there of) on the same level as TASM2. I'm sorry but, the PLOT in a MOVIE is pretty important if you ask me, otherwise it's just a collection of scenes, like a compilation instead of a cohesive piece.

I didn't see criticisms aimed towards Cap's plot structure (or lack there of) on the same level as TASM2. I'm sorry but, the PLOT in a MOVIE is pretty important if you ask me, otherwise it's just a collection of scenes, like a compilation instead of a cohesive piece.

Spider-Man can work as a love story. The reviews are praising the chemistry of the relationship. There's bad guys and explosions, but it's the heart that keeps it turning. Everything is an obstacle for them. And it is a doomed relationship.
