Wizard *cough* Marvel *cough* magazine...

Who all reads Wizard. I've been a loyal subscriber for years, but I'm at the point where I wanna F'ing shoot myself every time I open it up b/c I can't stand the Marvel (over)attention!?? I mean, I don't give a damn if they are the leading shareholder, the editorial bias is sickening. Blackest Night is THE story to be covering right now, and what's on the newest cover? "70 Years of Marvel"....F&*% ME!

Plus, its such a crock, respectively speaking, when they give a majority of the year-end awards to Marvel books, only to see FANS vote DC the majority favorite 2 months later...Don't get me wrong, this isn't a DC rant. I'm an avid reader of Dark Horse, Dynamite, etc...but seriously, Wizard is brainwashing Marvel Zombies!

I used to read WIZARD for years. I quite about 2-3 years ago, back when they rose their cover price from $4.99 to $5.99 and I figured the price wasn't worth it since the Internet covers their "news" better anyway. But I have read that mag for over 5 years and I can tell you they do have a Marvel bias. They usually deny it in letters sections and they do cover DC stuff, but while they are a cheerleader for the Big Two, they always cheer hardest for Marvel. To be fair, Marvel's 70th anniversary is news, but I agree that giving Blackest Night short shift isn't fair.
