What do you think about this idea?
I personally think its fantastic, the first two Xmen were great. Last one sucked cuz he didnt' direct it.

I hope he signs the contract..

Am I the only one who considers X-Men and X2 a bit overrated? I guess I must.

As for him doing Wolverine, I wouldn't mind it.

I agree. I felt X-Men 3:The Last Stand' was best. I actually have them in reverse order. 3 was best, 2 was next, and 1 was worst. My reasoning is simple. My expectations were high for the first one and it did not live up to expectations. For X-2, I had less expectations so that is probably why I feel it was better. X-3 was the best because of the major battles. I felt the final battle between the X-Men(specifically Wolverine) and the Phoenix was epic.

Wolverine will be good, especially if it is an origins type of tale. X-4, although the pattern suggests it will be better, may be difficult to make. Xavier, Jean, and Cyclops are all dead. They are pretty much the heart of the X-Men universe.

Guess I am not alone, yeah!

Wolverine has a talented screenwriter doing the script, so I think it will be good regardless. I think really it depends on the script for me to say whether Singer should do it. Singer is better at character stuff than action (except of course for the Deathstrike vs. Wolverine fight and the plane scene in SR). If the script calls for lots of action, I think they should get someone more suited for it. Jackman is a talented actor and can handle himself.

I am numb to Singer doing it. His presence would neither excite or taint it for me. X-Men and X2 were good, but not great (SR just plain sucked however).

No.

A thousand times No.

Let him fix the issues with Superman Returns...that should keep him occupied for now.

The only two good movies of Bryan Singer are The Usual Suspects and X2, the rest is rubbish.

No. Singer can't direct fights for crap.

A Wolverine movie with lame fight sequences... Quite the premise. :D

LMAO, your reasoning is nonsensical. No offense. Your expectations have nothing to do with th quality of a move.

They are overrated, but I really don't want Singer for Wolvie, he's too pondoruouss (sp) we need raw, dirty action. And some good fight scenes.

(Although I thought the raid on the mansion was a good indicator of Wolvie's talents.)

Should this thread be in the Xmen movies forum?

Considering X1 & 2 were so Wolverine-focused anyway, I think he'd do great on a Wolverine movie.

While it might not be as action packed as some would want it, at least we'd know it wouldn't suck totally.

Completely agree.

He and Rattner can both stay the f**k away from Wolverine.

Singer can go finish up his little superman movies. I dont give a flying flop with Rattner does.

what about the 1st & 2nd sucking cuz he did?

The thought of Singer doing another comic book film makes me nauseous.

I feel the same way
