Wolverine Origins #5 Covers

Man, that's intriguing and with the description given, looks like Logan is in for another shattering blow. The art looks spectacular, really potrays Logan's raw emotion.

I just hope the inside art improves, the covers have been fantastic

It sucks. Its also false advertising, and it sucks.

can anyone tell me the big thing that'll be revealed about wolverine at the end of #5? i wana read it but i know it'll be naff, so if someone can just confirm that for me thatd be great...

It's more or less false advertising if you go by the title, yes, at least until some big bombs start getting dropped about Wolvie's past.

Way's writing is fantastic. Dillon's art leaves a LOT to be desired, however. It's disgusting.

Yeah, I can see how the arcs will shape up. 6 issue arcs, radnom fighting, Wolverine ebing badass the 6th issue some secret comes out. WOW, this is going to take forever.

Lol. It's still good writing. =P

I mean, you have to look at it for what it is, I guess - what it is, and what's going on. You can't have some shattering secret put in every issue, or even issue 1. His Origin has always been a mystery, and it's being revealed as a mystery. Well, kind of. I said Way's writing was fantastic. The plot/storyline may prove not to be.

Then again, it's a title I'm pondering dropping next issue if the story doesn't shape up and give me something to chew on, and if I decide I can't stand the art anymore.

I like Wolverine Origins alot and so far we got Wolverine vs Nuke and Wolveirne vs Captain America and soon X-Men are showing up, Omega Red and Jubilee are in next arc, and we have find that Wolverine has been involved in some dirty things

So... I know the old saying goes, "Don't judge a book by its cover," but is this series basically just about Wolverine fighting some established Marvel character in each issue? First Nuke, then Cap, now Emma... I'm sensing a theme...

Most definitely, I've gotten all of these so far and the main line series, yet to be seriously let down.

Corpulent: Well yeah, that is the basic theme of superhero books. Find a bad guy or a bad guy finds you. Fight. Rinse & Repeat. Amplify that about 10 times for a guy with an attitude like Logan and you've got it down pact.

Kinda like the Hulk's hairy bastard son.

I am barely liking the series. All the stuff with flashbacks of what Wolverine did are good but it better get good art on the inside and start picking up the pace of the release of secrets in the issues.
