you guys seen the promos yet for hugh jackman's viva laughlin? i have pretty high hopes since he is involved. i guess it was based off a british show that was supposed to be great.

It was based of Blackpool which was stunning. I heard this version was cancelled after one episode? Was the original ever shown in the US?

It was cancelled after 2 episodes...... yes.

I never saw Blackpool in the US but Viva Laughlin was not very good at all.
