Do you this will have major effect on the boxoffice?

Around 2 hours ago it popped up online, dvd quality and it's making it's way around the interent as we speak, I just talked to someone that watched it, they told me to watch all the way through the creditis and that there is something at the end.

I think it could hurt.

The fact that it is a workprint helps. The special effects are incomplete. It's unfinished/rough in some areas.

However, if people have problems with the overall content (i.e. quality of the movie), then I think it could really hurt.

The cams of movies that leak out after the first few days at least have their shot at a big opening weekend.

It certainly isn't going to help matters much. As a fan, I'm pissed that one loser with a leaked copy can sabotage a film that I want to do well. I wonder if it was a frustrated Watchmen fan or corporate payback from the WB? Whatever the case, I'm doubling my efforts to support this film. I'm volunteering my time to personally cruise the net and report links as fast as I can for the next month. I often visit general movie forums and the ones I visit all are mentioning the leak. Fox may be facing a losing battle.

I too am angry it got leaked, but even if I see it online, I will still see it when it comes out.

Depends on how the WOM is. If it's good, then people will come regardless of the leak. Good WOM might even help. If it's toxic a la Dragonball, then yeah, the leak will hurt.
