this is a thread to talk about anything to do with women of dc.

there already a thread for DC women comic porn which is all this is going to turn into. Personally the women of marvel are better in my eyes, they have amazing power. DC are still behind, only wonder woman can fight on the big boys level. All the other women are weaker than the men- but then comic are a male thing on the whole and they don't like to feel inferior.

You know, I know I'm in the minority with this, but I never really give a damn how powerful a character is. If they're not a good character, if they don't have great personality and style to really endear themselves to me, I really don't give a damn about their power levels. And, personally, I'd say, in terms of character quality, DC's women are just as good as Marvel's.

no they are not but its been pointed out specifically they are weaker than their male counterparts. i don't think its necessary

Actually, hasn't it been pointed out specifically that Supergirl is stronger than Superman? At least for a little while. Then, after that, she'll be of equal power level.

originally she was stronger then her powers started to even out. the fans couldn't have anyone be stronger than big blue so she is considered weaker.Even weaker than wonder woman in the female power rankings. She is still growing so lets put that into consideration.

if that was true why did the first time they fight he have to use kryptonite to stop her instead if just beating her the old fashioned way

and leaguer is a prime example of those fans who would be outraged if supergirl was stronger than superman i suspect

i don't know what comic it was in but she was apparently in the ship long enough to absorbs massive amounts but she is using it up to the point she is levelling out. Her average being weaker than superman

Which would be negated by what was revealed in Supergirl later on. Superman is more powerful, he just hides it.

Ah. Okay. You see, I was smart enough not to read any issues of Supergirl.

IIRC, it was implied early on that Supergirl's abilities were in advance of Superman, but revealed sometime around Supergirl #5 that Supes was just allowing her to think that so he could accurately gauge what Kara was capable of. Then he (and Wonder Woman) proved it by laying the smack down.

Yes, that's basically just a reiteration and amalgamation of what's already been said, but I read this entire page and I was going to contribute something, dammit!
