I don't really mind the delays, I'm still excited for this.
JL got pushed back from 2017 to 2021 so this isn't actually that bad.
Zimmer's score sounds amazing.
Just move it to June 2021 already
After Black Widow got postponed, the only big superhero movie left this year is WW 1984.
I strongly believe with the way things are, WW 1984 should be delayed to next year. However, the caveat there is that where would you put it next year which looks to be pretty crowded?
I'm just stating my preference, 12th March 2021.
I support that...its the day before my birthday
So, Bond movie has moved to 2021, only WB's Dune and WW84 remain, will WB move it to 2021 or keep the Dec 25th release date ?
Does WW84 want some Oscars or money lol
They really should have kept their resources in the last few months, now it’s probably starting to get expensive and repetitive with the marketing
If Bond which was suppose to come out in March/April this year is happy to move then WW shouldn’t be afraid to lock a date in Spring next year, bully some film into moving or something
Only thing is unlike Bond, they've basically thrown everything they've got at the marketing, which is now beginning to look repetitive.
Edit: This is what happens when the Studio keeps advancing the release date by every two weeks, for one year.
Well if WB wants to see more of Tenet numbers then go ahead with the December release. But even if WW84 makes 100 more million than Tenet worldwide, that is still low unless Wb only spent 50 million dollars making this movie and they didn't. After the underwhelming box office performance of Birds of Prey, Wb shouldn't be stubborn trying to move forward with a 2020 Dc movie release in a middle of a pandemic.
Same thing with Dune.
Conjuring 3, Godzilla vs Kong and now Dune move to 2021. WB's insistence on keeping WW84 in 2020 continues to baffle me.
With Dune getting delayed I'm pretty sure this is going to be moved next. No way anything big is coming out this year after Tenet pretty much disappointed big time for Warner Bros. I also don't see it ever going to streaming either because Disney pretty much learned there lesson with that one after Mulan failed to impress on Disney Plus, so a delay until late 2021 seems the most likely and James Gunn's The Suicide Squad should also get pushed back.
This honestly might take the place of The Batman as the only high profile DC movie coming out next year if it gets moved into 2022 which is also very likely IMO.
1) People aren't gonna do that. Or not enough people.
2) It's not gonna be just flu season. It's gonna be flu season combined with the ongoing pandemic with at least a thousand people still dying every day, if not going up even more.
It’s getting delayed again for sure.
March / April 2021.
Why are they still hoping to "save" 2020 (even when Tenet bombed and theaters are closing down) by still sticking to Wonder Woman 1984's 25th December 2020 release date ?
Is it to save money on marketing this further into 2021 ?
Funny thing is even if WB are determined to release this in December this year, what are they going to do when many theaters are already closing down.
So, the movies still to be released in Nov & Dec 2020 are -
20/11/20 Soul (Disney)
25/11/20 The Croods 2 (Universal)
25/12/20 Wonder Woman 1984 (Warner Bros.)
30/12/2020 Monster Hunter (Sony)
30/12/2020 Death on Nile (Disney)
