Did Patty Jenkins say that the wait between WW84 and WW3 would be even longer than between the first and second film?

Just how long is she talking about? That doesn't sound encouraging. We've seen how films can lose momentum with too long a gap between them (eg Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness).

The gap between the 2nd and 3rd film was always going to be longer than the previous gap because Patty wants to work on something else and Gal has 2-3 other projects set for the next year. WB's DC slate is set up to 2022 so far, so the earliest release date is 2023, but I think it's going to come out in 2024. Pretty much the same 4 year gap we had between TDK & TDKR. Would love a Dec 2023 release date as I want to see how much money a WW film can make during the holiday break.

Yeah, and creatively speaking.... Patty needs a break for sometime before she plans a third WW movie.

I thought she said that WW3 has been planned out already.

She also said that those plans could change. A 3-4 year gap between WW84 & the third film is fine. GoTG Vol 3 is going to come out 5-6 years after the 2nd one. Black Panther 2 has a 4 year gap between the first and second.

4 years is ok for me on this. Any more would feel like an eternity, especially if WW84 hits it out of the park.

I am fine with not viewing any new footage. In fact, I don't want to view any, and will avoid going back to watch even the 1st trailer. I prefer not to have seen so much before the movie as it ruins my enjoyment of it.

Then it begs the question of if WW3 will take place in present day

Matt Jensen, the director of Photography for the first Wonder Woman film is returning and I liked how he used the aesthetics of paintings into the movie.

The LOOK and FEEL of the WONDER WOMAN FILM

Both the Director, Patty Jenkins ‘and Matt Jensen, the Director of Photography of Wonder Woman attribute the film’s look and feel to the influence of the artist John Singer Sargent.

“‘A big influence on both of us was the painter John Singer Sargent, who did a lot of portrait work at the turn of the century,'” Jensen told Digital Spy.

Sargent was an American artist [of] the late 19th and early 20th century, known for his portraits of generals, aristocrats and socialites. But he’s also remembered for his painting Gassed, a depiction of the survivors of a mustard gas attack during World War I (in which Wonder Woman is set).

“‘His lighting style influenced the way that I lit the movie. I think Patty really responded to the beautiful soft light that he used in his paintings on his subjects,'” he said.

“I think a key thing for us was we wanted rich blacks, beautiful portraiture on the faces, and when we did see colour – because he tended to not use a lot of colour – it was vibrant. So that was the guiding principle for me.'” (Digital Spy).

Any chance of a second trailer hitting soon?

    Maybe with BoP?

Possible. The 1st trailer for WW84 was nearly 2 months ago. DC news in general, but mostly WW84.

BoP & Joker only had two trailers so unless WB is changing something for WW84 we are going to get one more trailer around April with the new Bond film or Black Widow. The second trailer for Joker & BoP came out 1 month before the release date.

No fangs or whiskers ? Today's not going as I hoped, everything seems to be underwhelming.

Oh well, at least MCU movies are still getting universal love.

This is Cheetah we're talking about... It's gonna look like Cats no matter what.

And it totally looks like Wiig to me.

Based on the art itself, the design looks off, but could be great in actual.
