Why they haven't made an Antiope figure is puzzling.

Why would they make Menalippe instead of Antiope?

No one even remembers Menalippe in the movie.

No idea. Mattel made a General Antiope Barbie: http://barbie.mattel.com/shop/en-us/ba/pop-culture-dolls/wonder-woman-antiope-doll-dwd84

So, it's not an issue of not having likeness rights. Maybe they didn't want an action figure of that character because of the events of the film? It seems a bit short sighted, especially since she's going to appear in Justice League as well.

Or they have made an Antiope, but she's going to be part of some kind of limited release. For example, a SDCC exclusive pack.

I think I have read somewhere that WW merchandise sales in one year could reach anywhere between 500 mil to 1 bil. globally.

I think they would be bought by both girls and boys as opposed to mostly by one sex as might be the case for other superhero movies. You don't normally get dolls and other feminine products such as makeup etc for Batman, Superman or Spider-Man. Again, I think this might be more like the merchandise for a Disney princess movie.

BTW, what scale are those Mattel dolls above? Are they 12"? I'd get them myself but I don't really collect anymore. It's too expensive and addictive. Once you start on one, it just opens a can of worms. Can't really get for my nieces either as they've moved past the Barbie stage and it would just sit neglected.

If this is hand painted, how come it still doesn't look very real?

Walmart has the 18" WW Jakks big fig. Hardly any different from the BvS, except she has the cape and a rope, the red is lighter on the WW version tho

Best Buy is getting a steelbook too, but i'm not sure if there will be a 4k one, or if it will be 2D/3D or any combos. Suicide Squad had a 4k and a regular one i think.

i'm hoping this will be like Passengers and 4k and 3D in same package

That's good you got it cheaper.

I ended up buying the Art book, the novelisation paperback, and the Deluxe Junior Novel Hardcover! :yay:

Not bad covers, like that they used the poster for the 4K, but crossing my fingers one of these exclusives will use the tank or side view poster.
