We know that Warner Bros Pictures is way behind Marvel Studios when it comes to making movies out of its comic book properties. But I have intel on what is coming up at this July’s Comic-Con from the studio. A lot of stuff remains in flux but my sources have so far: May 2016 – Batman v Superman
July 2016 – Shazam
Xmas 2016 – Sandman
May 2017 – Justice League
July 2017 – Wonder Woman
Xmas 2017 – Flash and Green Lantern team-up
May 2018 – Man Of Steel 2

Meanwhile, if you were wondering why Batman v Superman was delayed, it wasn’t the script or Ben Affleck or Jesse Eisenberg but with the fact that this pic will act as a launching pad for the Justice League. According to my source, “Like Marvel’s The Avengers, there will be cameos of superheroes for future installments. The cameos will include the already known Cyborg and Flash. Green Lantern [not played by Ryan Reynolds, thank god] may be introduced. And Aquaman will be seen in the Justice League movie. Problem is, Warner Bros Pictures was still negotiating with the actors for those cameos and future roles, meaning major contracts for multiple JL/character films to follow. The studio didn’t want to move forward until they had more of this secure so they held off starting production for a few months. Seemingly simple reason, but the implications are pretty darn huge.”

Really good to have a solo Wonder Woman. I hope the film will be extremely good and also something that we haven't seen before. The superhero genre needs to evolve and take new steps to survive.
Warner Brothers plans include a Sandman film and that bugs me a little. Is it a set up for JL or not? If it takes place in DCCU, then why Sandman and not Aquaman or Hawkman (or even Green Arrow)?

It's legit. Gadot has signed a three movie contract. So that either means a solo film or a JL2.

That has nothing to do with it. doing a WW movie is one thing, Doing it when the shooting overlaps with JL is quite another. She cannot be in two places at once.

A good idea to release the WW movie two months after JL. That way, the movie may benefit from people who had just seent JL, going to check out WW as well.

Depends on how they work out her schedule. They are filming BvS now and it won't be released for another 2 years, right? I'm sure they could fit it in somewhere.

Yeah, from what I heard JL is shot with BvS, so by the time it's time to shoot WW, she won't be shooting anything.

A Shazam movie in July 2016? They'd have to have the script written and locked with pre-production already underway right now, with primary shooting starting by this fall to make that deadline -- CGI/post-production/special effects together take at least a year.

^^ That is not official announced doesn't mean that they had all of that but not on the public eye. They can start pre-pro at the beginning on the next year or the end of this one. There are 2 years!!!

Could you post a link to where her solo movie is being discussed? I've only seen 3 & 4 WW threads. One for Gal Gadot, her costume, all encompassing and one to discuss casting of her mother. There must be 200 Batman and Superman. It's wholly appropriate that there is a thread for her solo movie.
