So stealing a page from Marvel's handbook. I wonder if we might see a scene during the credits that hints at or shows WW. Similar to the scene at the end of IM2 where we see Thor's hammer in a crater in New Mexico.

Because putting an after credits scene in a superhero movie isn't an oversaturated trend at all.

I'm worried about how a character like Wonder Woman will be handled in this universe. I'd rather see an Easter Egg for Green Arrow, or Green Lantern or Flash.

    That shouldn't matter.

But yes, I do think they should do something to setup either a JL movie or a WW movie. End credits, mid credits, in the movie, don't care where it happens. Just hope it happens.

I'd like to see something like this tied into an easter egg instead of waiting until the credits roll. BL's right, Marvel overdoes this to the point in which it's no longer exciting (to me at least).

The nice thing about easter eggs is that they give a reason to re-watch the movie. The empty pod, Wayne Enterprises and LexCorp logos, STAR Labs, Carrie Ferris and the rest of the easter eggs from MoS give the audience more to pay attention to.

    Just my opinion though. ;)

Yeah. Mention Central City or something and that'd get me giddy.

I hope not, DC should follow their oun strategy, the best way to do it differently would be to have each film be a stand alone without promoting any other film, and being an event of its oun instead of a little adventure the characters experimented on the way to the major crossover.

if they're to have an end credit scene, it should be about the next film in the dccu whatever it maybe. lots of people will see batman/superman, so any buzz that the next film in the dccu can get is good. be it wondy, flash whatever.

It SHOULD be Wondy. Having WW be "teased" after a guaranteed financial hit can really boost excitement for the movie. Think about how much more IM3 made after TA.

Then if WW has good WOM/BO (which will be pretty much guaranteed), it can be the beginnings of a TRUE DCmU :wow:

Tall, any ethnicity, physical, good actress...did they say what age?

It sounds like Diana. But obviously it could be anyone, even like the Russian ballet chick from TDK. But Wonder Woman would be great. Especially if she's not that big of an actress, she's nowhere near the trailers, and they don't even say her name until the end of the movie. Then they reveal that she's Diana. That would be amazing. Instead of taking that into a JLA movie, I would use that to launch the Wonder Woman movie with that actress. Then launch into an Affleck directed Bat movie and possibly one more Snyder/Superman film. Let Flash get his start on tv. Next thing you know it's around 2019 and WB can forget about Zack, get Del Toro or Cuaron to direct Justice League.

Emily Blunt or Lynn Collins would be great. Collins needs a trainer nowadays. But im guessing they'll go with a late 20s/early 30s unknown.

The trend is not exclusive to superhero cinema: it was around long before Marvel Studios started slapping said bumpers onto the films. The Horror genre popularized it and created the sequel mentality that is slowly corroding the genre.

I'd rather have it as the last scene of the film rather than an after credit scenes. I'd rather leave on an absolute high than sit through 10 minute credits, get bored, get annoyed and then see a scene.

WB already does this. They did it with Green Lantern.

Also, Fox started the trend back with Xmen 3, not Marvel Studios.

Well, I'd prefer if she'd had an origin movie by 2016...doubtful.

But in order to get a decent scene, and not to bloat JL with Diana's origin. I'd say have her already in politics. She's a respected politician. She proposes a new branch within the Government, with the Department of Metahumans. Before publicly revealing, she is really one herself...

And I'd like this giant actress for the part :)

You know what would have been better? If they had known that they were going to have Batman in the next film, then they could have attached a post-credit scene in MOS teasing to Batman's appearance.

Maybe it could have been about how the Military, General Swanick perhaps, discovers that someone has broken into one of their facilities and has downloaded all of their known info on Superman and when they check deeper, they discover a batarang at the location.

I'd rather DC not put stingers at the end of their shared cinematic movies. I think it'd be better to end the actual Superman/Batman film with a possible Wonder Woman easter egg though. I'm sure the audience would go nuts.

I've been saying this since they announced Superman & Batman would officially be meeting......I want Diana in the movie in some way, either during the movie, or an after credits scene

i would have like to see lex staring out of a window, with superman helping rebuild metropolis, maybe moving some of the debris, then his secretary calls into his office saying, "Mr.Luthor, It's Mr.Wayne on the phone."

Yeah, I don't think that WB/DC could get away with post credit teasers without looking like they are copying Marvel.

They'll be hard pressed to come up with their own way of competing with Marvel's approach, but if they're smart, they will figure something out. Hopefully not just shoe horning cameos/references to each next character into the films though. It really needs to feel organic.

I like to think that Bruce's love interest in this film will be revealed to be Diana.

I really don't think anyone will think that or care.

Did people think that after Green Lantern?

Did people think that Iron Man copied Xmen3?

I think their strategy should be to make less movies but each one stand more on their oun, The Avengers is kind of a spin-off of Iron Man's film series, with DC Superman vs Batman is a sequel to The Man of Steel, and that's probably how they should go with their strategy. No post-credits scenes, each film is done when they're done and the events are sequels to their respective characters franchises and therefore have a major impact.

If they could handle having Diana in this film along with Clark and Bruce, while giving Clark his needed exposure and development as Superman in a great way and still deliver us a great villain, then Snyder and Goyer will be freaking geniuses.lol

When I think about adding a post-credit scene to something like The Dark Knight, it makes me cringe. In my opinion, great movies are better without them. I'd rather Goyer/Snyder continue the trend of utilizing easter eggs over a promo for the next movie or a joke.

    Amen.

Just imagine we had an end credits scene after TDKR?

    They're lazy imo.
