words you can summarize...

okay... so a while back Jack Black and KG (tenacious D) did their 'drive through' skit, and summarized the word 'cheese' into 'chee'

then dane cook was good enough to summarize 'merchandise' into 'merch' and 'peripheral vision' into 'periph'...

and, i want to start doing this. i want it to catch on. i know it's kind of dumb, but i think this could be the new version of "-izzle" (for shizzle my nizzle, etc) it could be like (not trying to make this a race thing at all) the caucasion version of "-izzle"... since the izzle is predominantly known as a hip hop-ish thing... and white guys are mostly ridiculed for saying it. (or any other slang like that)

so, what words can you do this to? i've been racking my brain for a while, and i am having a hard time coming up with words to cut down... it's harder than it sounds to make it sound right.

the only ones i've come up with that sound decent (from looking around my house) are calling your tv a 'televish' and your computer a 'compute'... i guess you have to picture the likes of jack black or dane cook saying these things for them to sound funny... but whatev... (oooh! there's another one! from that milky way commercial, my favorite commercial, by the way)

i don't want to do it because it's easier... i want to start the new "fad" damnit.

i mean, i know that jack black (as far as i know) started it, but i want to mainstream it. even if 3 years from now, when everyone is sick of it, and every 12 year old is doing it, and no one belives that i made it popular, i can look back and go "yup... that was me"
