World of Tanks movie: Can it be done?

OK, I am huge fan of World of Tanks, and a tank fan in general. I believe a movie about this game will be brought up at some point...but can it be done?

I mean, the easy way is to make a WW2 movie focusing on tank battles between Germany and USSR, but this will not be World of Tanks.

Do any of you have an idea how a WOT movie can work and incorporate most of it's famous tanks?

They could, but it wouldn't be based on World of Tanks.

That's why the internet is such a weird, and vast place. I've never heard of the game, but I can only assume it's one of those games with has a big presence online, with a dedicated fanbase.

But like a sub-reddit, it's popularity in its inner circles is great, but it doesn't make any dents in the mainstream. I think something like Persona 5 is more popular, and that is already considered (for now) niche and very specific.
