With the success of TDK. I really think the only way to top it is to have a Superman/Batman teamup. Just give Nolan control and Bale will follow. A live action Superman/Batman teamup has never been done before. And people who aren't even big comic fans will want to see it.

I'd rather see Batman beat the living s**t outta Supes than team up. In an ideal world I'd like a Nolan Trilogy and then in about 2012 an 'R' Rated Dark Knight Returns movie with Miller at the helm, completely re-cast with older actors (so far I'm going for DDL as Joker, and hair-piece wearing Powers Boothe as Batman).

Won't happen I know, but I can dream.........

I don't understand the hate here, that seems like a pretty cool idea. It would be unprecedented and would give the thrid movie a way to top TDK.

Plus, with MOS up in the air, it would be a good way to get Supes back in the mainstream.

Seriously, whats with the hate? TDK was a masterpiece. How are you going to surpass it....Riddler, Catwoman? It has to be something bigger. And whereas you see how Joker and Bats are opposites with diffent goals. In a teamup. You will see how opposite Batman & Superman are opposite with a similar goal. You have Batman as this shadowy figure who rarely comes out during the day and hides from the public. As opposed to Superman who is always there and loved by the public.

You could have Supes come to Gotham to try to catch Batman. Then Supes realizes he is not a villain and they work together against a common enemy.

And as Sun Down said. It might be a good way to get Supes back on track.

Had Superman NOT flopped and they took a different approach to the outcome of TDK then this may have been an option... but SR sucked ass.. first you need to fix Superman before you do a WF. But don't expect the same cast because Bale probably won't return after BB3. Then again they can always do BB3 and WF back to back

Well after Sonar technology and what not... it's not that inconceivable to have that the Son of Krypton is lurking somewhere in the skies... TDK showed that Nolan can move away from realism if he has to. The two characters can co-exist IMO.
