Worse movie: X-Men: The Last Stand or Spider-Man 3?

Which one do you think is worse since both films have been universally touted as the worst of the films of each franchise. I think that The Last Stand is worse. And that's saying something, since Spider-Man 3 was god-awful.

Nothing about The Last Stand is admirable.

Nah, Spider-Man 3 is worse. Much worse. It physically hurt. The experience wasnt a million miles away from what i imagine sitting in a packed theater full of people and watching a tape of your girlfriend cheat on you is like...

I agree with you that it was really bad. Especially the dance sequence. But The Last Stand was able to fail at a bigger scale because it threw in a whole bunch of characters from the comic books and just shat on them. At least Spider-Man 3 only managed to screw over a few characters at a time.

Id actually say X3. SM3 was cheesy and those dancing scenes were terrible, but I can still enjoy it a little bit.
And X3 ****ed up alot more characters, so Id vote X3.

That scene near the beginning of SM3 with Aunt May describing the story around her wedding ring was just unbearable. It took like 4 yrs!

Definately, definately X3 for me, Spidey 3 has grown on me over repeat viewings, despite Venom, a favourite of mine, getting screwed over, X3 gets 10 times worse EVERY time I watch it.

What a random thread!

I own both films, i went to see both films, i prefer X3.

Next: Spider-Man 3 or cucumber... Which is best?:word:

X-Men the Last Stand or strawberry jam... Which is better on toast? :hehe:

It's tough because Spider-man 3 had some incredible action sequnces. I actually prefer X-men 3 because it didn't make me cringe .

hahahaha! i completely agree! every time i watch X3 i hate it that much more!

spiderman 3 was pretty bad, but it had its moments. X3 did not, just about every scene was equivalent to slaughter.

I prefer any of the X-Men movies over any of the Spider-Man movies, for me the Spider-Man series just has to many cringe worthy cheesy scenes/dialogue for me to enjoy fully.

 I am actually at the point now were I literally dont think I will watch X3 ever again. Honestly nothing in the movie brings me back or urges me to watch it now.

Spiderman 3 I can still watch though.

Can't we get along and viciously hate both movies equally?

Funny seeing this, since I randomly decided to watch both movies back-to-back at about 3 AM this morning.

That said, SM3 is worse to me. I'm still struggling to figure out how a film can run well over 2 hours and still feel incomplete and underdeveloped. There's so much about that flick that still pisses me off. As the viewing went on, I found myself groaning about the things I remembered that were still to come. Damn good action scenes though.

X3, while still no prize, at least manages to be remotely coherent, though riddled with plot holes, character inconsistencies, superfluous inclusions and general bull****. It's the lesser of two evils.

X3 leaves me numb. Spider-Man 3 thoroughly aggravates me.

The thread is now complete with Kung Fu Grip Poll Action!

Well, I honestly liked both of these movies. Spider-Man 3 more though.

The only people I see hating these movies are the fanboys. That's too bad. Your opinions though.

Both films are frustrating because, at their core, they have great ideas for the overall story and some great individual performances and scenes but they're both sloppy as hell...compared to their counterparts.

If I really had to choose, The Last Stand is worse...but not by much.

absolutely Spider-Man 3. i can sit down and pop in Last Stand or catch in on tv without hesitation. its still an enjoyable movie when i don't think about everything they did wrong. Spider-Man just makes me sad it was just all over the place and sank lower below my expectations.
