Worst console ever?

What's everyone's worst console?

I would have to go with dreamcast. It had no real great games I liked...I heard so much about Shenmue, but I personally think it sucked. The voice acting and plot were attrocious.

The only game I did like, Code Veronica, went to PS2 anyway.

What does everyone think their personal worst consoles ever were?

No way, the Dreamcast was an awesome system. The first parties were great. It just never got the support it needed. The worst console? Probably the Sega Saturn. Unless you are counting hand held in which case Virtual Boy takes the cake.

Agreed. Dreamcast rocked. It had alot of sleeper hits noone knew about.
I also thought its graphics were superior to the playstation.

But worst system. Does the 32x count? Sega C-d? If virtua boy counts definately that though.

dude, you have horrible taste as far as what a 'bad console' is concerned... the dreamcast was an underrated gem, with awesome exclusives, that could have done great things had it the support it deserved, and the game gear blew the gameboy of it's day out of the water.

i'll agree with you on shenmue, though. it was ahead of its time graphics and free-roaming wise, but everything else about it was total butt. i'll honestly never understand the love for it.

Notice Dreamcast sales plummeted when the PS2 and its affordable dvd player came out.

Shenmue- crap. I will agree that it did a lot of new ideas which other games did much better , so it gets props for that, but it was mostly poorly done.

There was a resident evil game - a total rip off, set on a ship- crap

WWE Royal Rumble- acceptable,, but eclipsed by the smackdown games

UFC- can't remember if this sucked or not

RE: Code Veronica- decent, not the best RE, but PS2 got the superior version a year or two later.

I can't remember alot of the names of games I played alonng time ago. Unless it has a legacy, I've probably forgotten. Playstation one had tons of games I liked that I can't remember names of. As with the original nintendo.

But seriously, yu can't lie and tell me dreamcast sales weren't doing fine until PS2 reared its head. On the documentry I saw on it, they said it was looking good right until then. Its my belief that if the dreamcast had a dvd player Sega would still be a hardware company.

oh yeah DC also had Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2. MvC2 is best on the DC. I thought it sucked on the PS2. The DC version was more of an arcade perfect port and the DC controller was made for that game

Dreamcast is the worst console I have played, but definitly not the worst in existance lol. It didn't appeal to me in the end, but it's nowhere near as bad as I imagine virtuaboy to be. I'm just talking about the ones I have had personally.

Out of the ones I've had and not played, Sega saturn or 32x takes the cake.
