I hate musicals, bad horror films and I am not a big fan of Westerns....

What about you guys?

sports movies

ya know its going to turn out good in the end ,,, the good old underdog fights the odds and win

I hate Westerns and Musicals also.
Those two are the worst genres.

Horror is going down the toilet. I don'tc are for musicals, though that's been long gone since Grease. Science Fiction ran out of ideas, too.

The Western genre easy because here was a genre with so much potential that was really narrowed to 2 runs (the John Wayne 50's and the Leonne/Eastwood spaghetti westerns) and I was shocked how easliy the genre was demythologised in Unforgiven ( a classic still). Like damn for something that was so grand it really had all it's conventions dropped like that.

Musicals!!! You couldn't pay me to watch Rent or Grease or Phantom of the Opera:down

Sports movies = UNwatchable. Utter garbage. They suck balls. See what I'm sayin'?

Musicals = If I was in an alternate universe where I was lame enough to be violent, and if I was extra-lame enough to go Columbine...I'd go Columbine in a theater on opening night at a musical.
study this truth...ALL MUSICALS SUCK PALE HAIRY ASS.
There are even cartoons I like, but I HAVE to fast forward when ridiculously they all burst out into a song. :down X 100
SUCH an embarrassing genre.

There are only a handful of Westerns that I love, but they're so unique, they don't even seem like westerns to me, more like some cool, subdued fantasy film. Most Westerns, bleh, BO-ring, dusty, smelly horses, lots of blah brown scenery and sweat and the same old tropes.

Horror and Documentaries, those are the only genres where I can watch anything, even the s***iest of the Crappiest examples and still enjoy them.

Anime films

And the teen comedy genre has gone down the drain since the American Pie series ended.

Horror is and always will be the butthole of cinema.

I take it you haven't seen The Shining, The Omen and Pyscho (to name a few), some of the greatest films in cinematic history.

yer mad, man.
That distinction goes to "Christmas Comedy", like the Santa Clause, and that one with Ben Awffleck, and that one with Jamie Lee Curtis, etc.
