I think it would, but it would probably work best on Xbox Live.

Definitely. I've always wanted to play City Of Heroes, but I'm not much of a PC gamer and I don't think I have the system requirements anyway (nor the money to get them). Watching 'Who Wants To Be A Superhero?' reminded me just how awesome the 'create your own hero' premise would be in a video game.

I would definitely buy it, ESPECIALLY if I could bring my already-created characters over from the PC

Well they are making the Marvel MMORPG for the Xbox 360 and the DC MMORPG for the Playstation 3 so we'll have to wait and see.

So would I, if I could bring over my chars from the PC version as well.

Everquest Online Adventures bombed horribly.

Why? Because you have to pay for XBL, and for the game service. It's a double monthly fee, instead of playing it on the computer for a single monthly fee.

I absolutly think it would work, and needs to be done, but like someone said, there is a marvel one in production, so hopefully itll be good.

LOL.......YOU COULDN'T BE MORE WRONG, OR MORE CLUELESS, 'SOULESS'.
FIRST OF ALL, 'EOA' WAS ON THE PS2, NOT THE 'XBOX'. BUT, IF IT HAD BEEN ON THE 'XBOX', IT WOULD'VE DONE VERY WELL. THE IDEA THAT 'SOE' IS BETTER THAN 'LIVE', JUST BECAUSE IT'S FREE, IS ONE OF THE LAMEST MISCONCEPTIONS OF MODERN GAMING. 'EOA' BOMBED, BECAUSE IT WAS A HORRIBLE CONCEPT, ON THE WORST IMAGINABLE PLATFORM, IMPLEMENTED WITH THE WORST IMAGINABLE ONLINE GAMING PLAN. PERIOD.

'LIVE' IS SO SUPERIOR TO EVERY OTHER ONLINE GAMING NETWORK, IT'S NOT EVEN WORTH DEBATING ANYMORE. FOR ANY ONLINE GAME TO WORK WELL.......PARTICULARLY AN MMORPG.......YOU NEED A WELL-MAINTAINED CENTRAL SERVER BASE, WITH MANDATORY BROADBAND; THAT COSTS ALOT OF $$, AND CAN'T BE DONE FOR FREE. 'SONY' CAN'T/WON'T OFFER THAT, AND THEREFORE THEIR ONLINE GAMES SUCK ASS.

FOR LESS THAN $3.00/MONTH, NOW, YOU CAN HAVE THE BEST ONLINE EXPERIENCE ON THE PLANET; IF THAT'S TOO EXPENSIVE FOR SOME PEOPLE, THEY NEED TO JUST STOP GAMING ALTOGETHER.........OR GET A F***ING JOB.

It could work. I just hope it'd enable voice chat, and have controls that don't feel awkward.

I'm talking about EOA bombed because you had to double up on the fees. Though any MMO that you have to double fee on will likely fail if a version is released on PC.

But as THWIP said, it wasn't doubled up on fees because it was on PS2. That means there was not Live-like service to pay for, only the EOA service fees. EOA bombed because the online service itself sucked, and so did the game.

Oh, and while COV/COH would be awesome on a console, I'M STILL TICKED OFF ABOUT "TRUE FANTASY LIVE ONLINE"!!:down

YEAH........YOU REALLY SHOULD CHANGE YOUR NAME TO 'CLUELESS'. :O

Well FFXI is out on the 360 now and from what I know that isnt doing too badly at all so I think that prooves that other MMORPGs like City Of Heroes would work

is COH only playable online? or can you play offline? *confused*

:( i was planning on buying it. and whats an MMO? sorry for the off-topicness.

oh i see...and you have to pay for the online service?
