I'll be the Punisher, he has guts to know who should be and should not be shot, a great athlete and survivor

I'd try to be a hero at first, but I'm sure my temper would get the better of me pretty quickly. Then I'd be, by definition, an anti-hero at best and my self-loathing would be at an all-time high.

 

I'd probably start off as an everyman hero, get married, then sell my marriage to the devil when my old auntie looks like croaking.

 

Being a hero really isn't practical.

You don't get paid, you get not benefits.

Unless you have a healing factor, or super intelligence to play the stock market, it's a good way to die young and broke.

 

Only if i had some kind of terraforming powers, and i would go around the world re-growing forests and cleaning up the mess à la captain planet, would probably build a floating nation out of the plastic continent.

If i was some kind of vigilante and was chasing around criminals, i would go after bankers, corporate heads and other wealth sponges, social inequality is at the base of all conflicts. Let's just say the media would portray me as the world's most dangerous terrorist.

In fact I think getting some kind of powers and NOT trying to do something good with them would just be the worst kind of hipocrasy ever for a superhero fan... let alone a Superman fan!

But i reckon i'd be more brutal than superman..he takes too many lumps and knocks before he kicks ass...
I'd be more severe..not lethal per se...but would strike hard and fast.
i also would kill the super villain second time round...i agree with some that the heroes are as bad as the villain for not stopping them permanently..how many folk had carnage, the joker etc killed... the loss of one nut case is minute to the loss of innocents.
