Sex is almost never mentioned in the vows.
In fact, the vows say that if your spouse were to have his/her legs and pelvis blown off, you'd still stay with them.
Also, as hard as it is to believe, there are millions of couples who get married and never have sex.
So, no, marriage is not paying for sex.

Most people have sex before they ever get married, so I really fail to see the marriage/paying for sex connection.

gym pass - no, I despise gyms. Exercise is a gross sweaty thing that should be done in private, to my OWN music

For instance, one of my favorite girlfriends, She totally got into me initially because I talked to her like a human being (we got into an argument about music at our first meeting) and after that was polite but aloof, unlike every other guy in the room.

I figured she was too hot and was just flirty with everybody, but I kept saying stuff that made her laugh, and she kept getting more and more forward, and I was just polite, but not "biting".

So, one day she gets fed up and says, "Me an' Mr. X are goin' to Bar X. You should come."
And I go, "Mmm, sounds fun, thanks, but I'm broke and bars are expensive. Have fun."

So she goes, "You like Long Island Iced Teas right? I'm buyin'"
And I say, "That's nice of you, but I can't drink unless I can smoke and I'm also out of smokes."
And she says, "I'LL GET YOU A PACK OF SMOKES!"
And I'm like, "Jeez, I see how it is."

So we go to the bar, get wasted, go home, have sex.
Then the next day she took me to a Greek restaurant. and we had sex, and we ended up being together for a long time.

So, where there was I "paying for sex" while dating her?
