Hulk does do the thunderclap in this movie but uses two very large steel plates as cymbals creating a thunderclap like effect.

From what sources tell me on the film, he will use it at least once towards the end of the film. He uses it to blow out a fire in order to save Betty, who gets trapped in a helicoptor crash, while he is in a fight with the Abomination.

Hulk blows out a fire from a helicopter crash to save Betty. The crash is about 15ft away from Hulk so he took a big breath to blow the fire out.
