- The human whose name is written in this note shall die.
- This note will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.
- If the cause of death is not specified, the person will simply die of a heart attack.
- After writing the cause of death, details of the death should be written in the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

You mean would I use it to kill someone else? Call me a boy scout but I couldn't have someone else death on my conscious.

In the anime, the kid uses it on a criminal to test it out...it works, and then he starts ridding the world of criminals.

No one should have this power. I'm not a killer but I'd start with someone horrible in the news. Then after that someone that wasn't so bad but kind of annoyed me . I'd probably kill off Ryan Seacrest. Then Jimmy Fallon. I'd gradually start offing the people in infomercials , and after that commercials. Gradually I'd kill some people off to start working towards a promotion at work. Then some more so I could own the company. Also kill off some of the company's competitors. I could go on.

I'd only use it on people that deserve it. People like Kim Jong-Il, Osama Bin Laden, etc.

I'd think i'd try to be admirable and murder only the people whom deserve it; i mean they would have to be the worst of the worst; not just any common criminal. But i'd probably get drunk with power and take it to the next level of murder.

Who are we to decide who lives and dies?

No; maybe once, but now it goes against my principles. Wouldn't you be killed by that freaky angel thing if you stopped using it?

No because this does not exist and could never happen in the real world.

what I don't understand is, is the piece of paper the kid writes on magical or is it just any regular paper? I mean, anyone could do this then (on the show) right?

the sick , twisted side of me says HELL YEAH !!!:hehe:

the side of me that still has any humanity left says probably not.

depends on what mood i'm in....

Do you even understand what you just said?:huh::huh:

I find it a bit odd that so many people on this site sit there and say it's not right to murder under any circumstances, yet everyone cheers for The Punisher to kill the people that murdered his family and get rid of corruption in the city he lives in. I mean, I get that it's a comic book but seriously, would most of you want him to get caught or die if he was a real life person doing the same thing?

The pages are created by the Death Gods so no.

Is it a good show?

How did the kid get it?

Death God drops it into the human world to see who picks it up and what they do with it.

Didn't you make this thread a year or so ago? I just remember seeing it before on here when I was first reading the manga.

Anyway, I'd probably use it at least once. I agreed what Light was doing with the Notebook in DN until he started killing innocent people.

I do believe a lot of you would follow this path.

I had deja vu when I made this thread...but I haven't finished watching the cartoon...I'm on like VOL. 3...episode 10 maybe?

I bought the live action movie a long time ago but never watched it until last week or something.

I know this is gonna piss of anime fans who like subtitles..........but is there a dubbed version for lazy people?

I imagine there are certain dire situations ins which I'd use something like this, but sitting here in my office wondering if <insert SSH member name here> isn't one of them.
