Would you want a Teen Titan/Titan's movie?

If you were running the DC movie universe and things had gotten to a certain point where the Batman, Superman, Flash and Wonder Woman movies all had a sequel or two and had introduced sidekick characters would you consider doing a Teen Titans or Titans film? Who would you have in the line up? What would be the story and how would you explain the whole "Well why can't the Justice League do it?" and how would you sell/pitch the movie?

Hell yes. While they're figuring out how to do JLA, and can't figure out what to do with Wonder Woman or maybe The Flash, and don't feel like recycling Batman or Superman again - TEEN TITANS is the PERFECT way to go.

Think about it, it's got everything WB wants, AND it could potentially very easily compete with Avengers or at the very least the X-Men series (but I see Teen Titans being bigger than X-Men):

- Already has a built in audience thanks to the cartoons of the past 10-12 years.

- Would appeal to children all over but still be smart enough and adult enough to appeal to everyone

- This is the one place where casting YOUNGER ACTORS is MUCH better and REQUIRED; forget Justice League: 90210, THIS is where you bring out the kiddie and teen actors, and IT COULD BE GREAT!

- There's "franchise"/series potential, as well as spinoff film potential.

- Perhaps most important of all and the biggest plus, BUILD UP films are NOT required to do a TEEN TITANS movie; we don't need a Robin, Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Kid Flash movie before seeing them in Titans.

- (and this one is just a plus on a personal level for me, it would rule out the possibility of Cyborg taking Martian Manhunter's place in the JLA if he's already being used in a Teen Titans film, so that's ANOTHER reason to get a Teen Titans film made before Justice League)

I honestly don't know WHY WB hasn't thought of this by now. It has all of the right ingredients, AND as I said, no solo films required to get it off of the ground. This is their series to compete with X-Men and even Avengers, it would have colorful costumes and youthful heroes, I'd suggest the animated show lineup seeing how great their chemistry is and how POPULAR they are and have Slade aka Deathstroke the Terminator be the villain, with maybe some classic/Perez era Titans thrown in (Kid Flash, Speedy, Wonder Girl, etc).

I think it'd be great and I'd watch it in a heartbeat. This would be so much better than a rushed JLA film and they would actually have a better chance of making it good and GETTING IT RIGHT this way, IMO, and the results could be just as great.

It depends. I would only want to see if it was exclusively made up of non-duplicate characters (for instance...Hawkgirl may have more value than Hawkman, so if you put Hawkgirl in the Titans then DO NOT put Hawkman in any movies).

If it turns into the stupid "It's a kid wearing Superman's costume!" nonsense that DC can't seem to avoid, then count me out.

I really wouldn't want one made before a Justice League film. Not that it couldn't be done well, I just wouldn't prefer it and it feels unlikely now that in, all likelihood, we'll be getting a Justice League movie by 2017 or 2018. I would like one down the line though.

Who would be your picks for villains? I think Deathstroke would be a must. I can't really think of another DC character whose film I would want him to appear in first and he's a strong enough villain that it wouldn't feel like they were facing off against a nobody.

My top 3 reasons

1.If Cyborg is introduced in the Justice League movie then down the road he should be a mentor to the Titans despite being in this early to mid twenties.

2.Nightwing (self explanatory)

3.Deathstroke (see above)

Dick Grayson is my favorite character, but Justice League has the edge for me, but Teen Titans is barely behind World's Finest and Justice League as my most wanted DC films

I just think without a Wonder Woman movie first to have the "Big 3" introduced it is just going to be a big fail.

Agreed, I think the best time for a Titans movie is further down the road when we've already had a couple of movies with Dick, Wally, Donna and whoever else.

Flashpoint ironically made me like Cyborg a lot more than I used to. I actually wouldn't mind it if he were in the JLA film now so much, lol.

My fantasy (that would never happen because of narrative logistics AND the degree of difficulty in making succesful trilogies) would be 3 films with Robin (Grayson, natch) and his evolution to NIGHTWING as a through line between the films. 1. THE TEEN TITANS 2. THE NEW TEEN TITANS 3. THE TITANS

None of this is going to happen anytine soon if ever, but that's my ideal for the Titans.
