In the simplest explanation, imagine The Big Bang Theory meets The League meets Silicon Valley. Basically an adult-oriented show about a group of friends who are geeks. Would you watch it?
If it's more like big bang theory than silicon valley, then no. BBT is terrible. Silicon Valley is awesome however.
The Big Bang Theory is where I stop you.
I doubt it.

It stars Hype members?
No. It doesn't sound intriguing to me.
It stars characters who are going to be real people. Instead of being represented as stereotypical science nerds which is a tired and old concept. To quote a scene from Mallrats: "Come on! You f***ers think that just cause a guy reads comics he can't start some $h*t?!"
I'm just trying to get a relatable story out there that just so happens to involve people who are geeks without them being caricatures.
Unfortunately we live up to the wider culture's stereotypes of "geeks/fanboys/fangirls/nerds" around here everyday.
Progress has to begin somewhere and I'm trying to do my part with this show. At the end of the day we're all just people who are passionate about the things we love. It sucks being marginalized. But to be fair, thanks to the abundance of superhero movies and comic book related shows over the last 15 years, it's much more common to be a geek than it was when I was a young lad lol!
Good for you for wanting to make the effort. All I am saying is look around places like the Hype or others where the hard core genre fans congregate. Far, far too often we do express ourselves in ways that show either borderline psychopathology, unbelievable credulity, lack of reasonably healthy people skills, obsession over meaningless minutiae or a combination of all those plus even uglier stuff thrown in there. My point is, what you are proposing should also delve into the culture and individuals warts and all. I think those that watch SV would say they do a good job of showing the underbelly of tech world and the personalities it produces.
It's been my experience from I would say the first time I ever went to a StarTrek convention and then working at comic book shop in high school, and my time here at the Hype, that far to often, as a group and as individuals, we live up to the caricature out there in the public. I wish we had some more self awareness, and maybe a show as you are proposing would contribute to that. But it would have to grapple with the "negative" aspects in the fan world. Not to mention... That's good fodder in terms of themes, drama and delving into your cast of characters and their stories.
That is excellent advice, good sir. I will definitely keep that perspective in mind as the show goes along. All facets of the nerd culture need to be represented and I will do my best to make that happen. I've also worked at a comic store. Some great memories there. The thing I enjoyed most is still what I enjoy now. It's the in-depth conversations about the stuff we love. There's just that sense of community whenever you talk to fans. Even the ones who go into a nerd rage, which I'm guilty of as well lol! I'm thoroughly enjoying the era of superhero cinema that we're in right now. Never thought we'd be here. Anyway, if you wouldn't mind following the show page on Instagram, I'd appreciate it greatly. @trinitycomicstv

I won't watch your nerd show, but please do not add a laughing track.
Ok, bye.
Is it a sitcom? Give us a little more details on characters and plot
