I have been a Spidey fan since I was 6 years old, and I have been a frequent visitor to this board, probably come on once every six months just to keep up with what is going on with Spidey.

Last night, I read the last two issues of Big Time, and then 655-656, and I must say I am very excited to be a Spidey fan again! These issues were awesome, and I have read a couple of issues where I just couldn't finish reading the comic, because I was so bored out of my mind.

I am very excited for the Fear Itself storyline, I love the new armor to try and help with the Spider-Sense problem, just everything about the four issues I read last night was just amazing, and I am actually looking forward to the next issue, although it seems almost like a throw away issue.

And the Flash Thompson Venom stuff is very much awesome!!! Just the plots that can come out of that.

Do you guys feel the same way about them, or am I just going insane?

But I am loving the recent issues myself. I really feel like we're at the beginning of a classic Spidey run.

The new costume looks inspired by the one Clint used to wear as an outlaw during Osborn's reign as the Goblin, I love that suit of Ronin

As a long time ASM reader, I have to say that ASM 655 is one of the best single issues in maybe the last decade. It's trully a brilliant issue.

...and the last three issues have been absolutely mind-blowing. I honestly will never part with them. Martin's art was PERFECT, and Slott's nailed Spidey's voice so precisely, that it actually feels like Spidey again.

I may actually add it to my pull list again, if I can find the budget.

I second that. Slott/Martin is an amazing team and such a perfect fit for Spider-Man. I wish we could have Martin every issue!

Big Time has been such great fun so far, the No One Dies 2 parter by Slott and Martin may just be one of my all-time favorites.

Hey Shin.... I'm so happy when I see a post like that. Although I wasn't against what they did, I absolutely HATED that it made guys like you not enjoy the title or the character(s). I've liked it since OMD, but since the start of the Slott run, I've been loving it. It's easily the first thing I read out of the bag. My only hope is that Dan has stories up his sleeve for the next 10 years.

Well, as I've said before, I will never like what they did to get here, but with good enough stories, I might come back. These stories aren't just "good enough"....they're fantastic!! It feels good to read Spidey and no longer feel like someone is spitting in my face because I like the spider-marriage. Finally, it feels like they've moved on.

And that's good for everyone!!

I read the new one with him being part of the FF4, and I really think they slowed down some of his momentum. Hopefully they pick it back up, because good things were happening, and now it's just slowed down.

whats with all these kids running around?
I know they have Franklin,and I read about Valeria.
I know of Artie and Leech form X-factor
But who are Alex (blond), Bentley(brown haired kid), Dragon Man and why are they all at the FF HQ?
