I think you're overthinking it. They probably gave each princess more or less the same body type because it was more cost effective since they're most likely only going to be an extended cameo at most.

Looking at the concept art you just posted, I can see how close the characters body types look. Especially for the girls who look very different from their own films. So, they may have been cutting corners to save time and money. Doesn't entirely defend it, but it would be understandable.
