Honestly, I think it doesn't look too good as far as us getting the trailer online, at least not for a while.

They made sure no one got video of it, and apparently the only copies of the trailer are reels, which you can't exactly rip and post easily. I'm not sure what those DVDs people got are.

I'm still hopeful though, because I do want to see this badly. We just have to wait it out and see, obviously.

so the people online didn't get any reward? that doesn't make much sense. i have to imagine they will reward the people online with the trailer, otherwise it's kind of a rip-off, right? i mean, even if it's not the trailer, something. but it would make sense if it was the trailer

My friend in Kansas City was saying they were making a big hints to share what was on the DVD or in the tin online... he was saying that maybe it had something to do with the next step of finding the trailer? As in, whatever is in the tin may help us online find the trailer?? Not sure...

i would have to imagine we'll get the trailer too. but i was so disappointed i didnt get to go today, because i had to work. and the only thing that kept my spirits up was that the trailer would be waiting for me when i get home =( but not yet. but...i'm still pretty confident that we'll get it tonight.

That honestly makes as much sense as saying "Well, they released photos of the action figures today, I guess that's the prize for the viral today"

Posters being released on some Spanish website are not the reward, and youre out of your mind if you honestly believe that.

I don't this need to be rewarded with stuff all the time. We're going to get an online trailer. They have sent out tons of stuff through the mail already. We didn't have to do all that much but read instructions over a phone and enter in a combo (and maybe filled in some blank #'s).

No other ARG has given out the kind of stuff that TDK has done. Feel happy that they coordinated such a massive campaign over three continents and 3 time zones. I had a blast helping out online, and that is the ultimate point of participating having fun and getting pumped for the movie.

Getting swag is a perk, but did you go above and beyond? No, u sat online and waited for a countdown. People drove hours, probably spending a good chunk in gas for a 2 min trailer and got a sweet card. The henchmen did the leg work, our spoil will come later in an online trailer.

If it was so unimportant, then mind explaining why they had us do anything at all? Why not just make it an exclusive on foot event? If our job was soooo useless, then why were we needed?

I wasn't necessarily hoping to get swag out of the deal or anything, I was just hoping that we'd be a little more involved in the game. Like you said, we read a clue to them over the phone. Thats it. They kinda made a big deal about having someone with an internet connection to relay instructions, and we ended up not really having anything to do. I was just hoping for a little more involved role.

It was designed so that everyone could play a role. I had a blast doing it, it was fun trying to help them figure out where to go. But in the end, our job was to read them a clue over the phone.

I'm not saying it was unimportant, but does that really mean that we should get swag? Also how do you determine who was helping, what if someone help solve the puzzle without talking to a goon directly? There is a lot of gray area with that. The henchman either show up or they don't.

I really think that we are getting the trailer once all of this stuff is over, probably in just a few hours, because at the New York Comic Con they pretty much said that it would be online within the next two weeks, and it has been two weeks since then.
