Yet another cool feature of the Wii.

Jesus, Nintendo were serious when they said tht the online 'aware' component of Wii would be well planned.

http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/topics/wii_preview/movie/interview.html

Yasumi Matsuno Wii interview...

- He talks about the Wiimote interface as well as the Wii's ability to interact with the world
- He thinks the Wii is well suited for FPS games
- He likes what Super Mario Galaxy is doing
- He is credited as "Game Creator" and not "Square Enix Producer"
- Kawazu is the last guy to be interviewed on the video and the Square Enix sign is all over him

Mentok, sorry to leave you postin alone bro. I've been watching this thing since the beginning. And its so damn exciting.

The online aspect of wii is definetly there. There is much more to wii then we previously thought. Amazing stuff for sure. Some of it is pretty basic, but cool.

Wii boxing, WOO HOOO. Wii Bowling, yippiiiiie. Pretty sweet stuff.

On that though, it should be noted that wii sports will definetly be a pack in, in the U.S version.

It's amazing how Nintendo has gone from "Doomed" with the Gamecube, to having such an overwhelming positive momentum with the Wii. I'm not like otally sold, but DARN I will be getting one day 1.

I hate Sony. Hey Sony, if you want an example of all the right strategies to generate a compelling product and enticing people to own it, look at Nintendo with the Wii.

That is all.

Seems similar to M$ Point system (although with only one card available to purchase and not available in all markets yet. Online credit card based is still the best way to get points for XBL).

Ridge Racer 7 will have a 24hr 'channel' of sorts, but forget that company, this is a wii thread. :D

*Looks at Japanese launch list*

Well... they have Twilight Princess. :o

As long as TP launches within a few weeks of the console I will be happy. Warioware and Wii Sports can keep me entertained until then.

Wii has a built in instant messaging system.
